Saeijis MOTM for me, he was outstanding. Special mentions to Wotton who looked brilliant in DM, Saga for the obvious, Gillett whose tackling and dribbling looked a lot better (but his passing still needs work) and Euell who looks as good as he did under Pearson.

You had to be there to see the true extent of it. At one point when we were by the steel bridge, I looked back and the whole street all the way back to the underground pathway was full of Saints fans.

Great turnout, there was an ounce of trepidation as I was walking up to bargate, I imagined me and three others being the only ones. Must have been at least 1000 there. Most promising thing is - this is only the beginning. It started off as a facebook group and grew into this. There is much more to come, and most of them bigger if you ask me....

Schneiderlin wanted to leave so i've loaned him out for the season (hopefully he'll want to stay when he comes back) and Lallana is out on loan as well.

Finished the first season with Saints, finished 17th. Happy with that. McGoldrick and Saga top scorers with 13 each. Signed Collins John, Jay De Merit, Tom Heaton and Lomano Lua Lua on frees and got Andrew Davies in for just under a million. Also signed two midfielders, can't remember their names now and Tommy Spurr for around £500k each. And got Nacer Barazite on loan. First team looks like this: -----------Heaton Sodje - Svensson - De Merit - Spurr ------------ --Balanti (or something) ---------------Barazite Yildirim----------------------Thomson ---------Saganowski----John Subs: Bialkowski, Davies, Salarim(?), McGoldrick, Lua Lua. Also got Dyer, Mills, James all pushing the first team.

You're right of course, but I don't understand why he plays like that. I think he CAN play attacking tennis, so perhaps it is down to his coach?

Definitely. Ironically enough, I just signed him on FM on a free as well Anyway, we should DEFINITELY be in there. I've always rated him, and i'm very certain he could perform at this level. We're meant to be getting another striker in, and as you say he is Dutch, so fingers crossed. I will be delighted if we sign him.

The atmosphere is all at the northam end anyway. Northam, Itchen North and Kingsland north are the main areas that sing.

Surman is very poor for me. Will be very happy when I can offload him at the end of the season. I like the fact that valuations have come down a bit in this game, makes it a lot more interesting trying to get some funds together.
