That Hapoel trip got me in trouble at work even though I didn't end up going. I'd only just started working for the prison service at an Immigration Detention centre and I got flagged up on their computer system for searching for flights to the middle east, they thought I was being radicalised.

The crack along that canal was great, Saints fans swarming both sides of it completely filling out the bars and restaurants, seeing Benalis face plastered everywhere, gorgeous sunshine and great Italian food and drink. Might have to go back to Milan now.

If he were playing in the A.Armstrong role of the CM further forward I could see him being effective, however as one of the two deeper ones absolutely not.

It was a great trip and i'm also fond of the memories...not wanting to rain on the parade a bit but is the difference in attendance perhaps due to it being a different competition? Allocations or demand may be playing a part?
