4-1, but yeah. Great start to the season for the girls.
-
Amazing how you've extrapolated me "flapping" and struggling to survive day to day life from me simply saying I think a loan doesn't really benefit us enough to warrant losing him from the squad.
-
Not sure why people are reacting with confused faces to this. Letting him go on loan doesn't benefit us at all. Our squad is weaker and we have no funds to reinvest.
-
Does that say loan with option to buy? Would have been good to get a fee for him this summer as we would have upgraded signing Manning and made some money doing so.
-
Having previously said it's going nowhere, been watching the games today and can't remember hearing goal music once.
-
I tried earlier but couldn't get it working. 3-1 up now, top of the league.
-
I think he's nailed on for the England squad with Henderson leaving for the middle east and him now playing for one of the FAs favoured teams.
-
Obafemi? 🤦🏼♂️

I've said all summer that I agree with the "everyone for sale at the right price" mantra of this summer, but we need to be careful now so close to the transfer window closing. If any deals are agreed for outgoings we need to say we won't conclude the deal until we have a replacement secured. I also think that, although I would sell Che for the right price, his goals are worth enough to us that we should be asking well above the usual market price. Talk of him going for £10-15million is way too cheap for me.
-
People have been saying this since the mid 2000s. It isn't going anywhere.
-
Maybe not now, but in years to come when nobody really cares about who he used to be because he was just one of any number of faceless mercenary footballers who chased a few extra quid. Guess I just have different priorities to the majority of people.
-
Edozie is just finding his shooting boots. I reckon he'll get double figures and if we keep Sulemana he could easily hit 20.
-
More the fact that if he'd stayed he'd have still retired with more money than he'll ever need, and he would have been a Saints legend for all time. Now he'll never be a legend anywhere, remembered here in the same breath as Andrew Surman instead of Rickie Lambert and remembered at West Ham as, at best, the same level as Dimitri Payet.

You lot really are on some sort of bizarre witch hunt with me right now aren't you? Whatever happened to "play the ball not the man". Bazunu is shit and we should have signed a striker if we're letting Che go. Not sure how me holding those opinions are "having a mare".
-
Fair enough lads, you've just rammed home the point that we've been way too slow to act this window.
-
We need to start spending some money on proven championship players. Get Gyokeres in to play up front and stick Armstrong in Tellas place.
-
Didn't say great fee, I said good fee. I compare it to the fees we paid for Adams and Armstrong both of whom scored a lot more than Tella did.
-
£30million for JWP ffs.
-
Worth pointing out that as poor as it seems Manning as been so far, he got two assists today.
-
Difficult to stick to that script when he's been their most influential player so far this season proving that he was actually held back by us.
-
Whatever way you look at it we really ballsed this up. He always had the talent to be a top player and we messed him around with a bit part role for ages. At least we're getting a good fee for him but it's karma that having to let him go now is significantly weakening us after we showed such little appreciation for his ability for so long.
-
He has the ability to be a "Shane Long" if he adapts his game and accepts that finishing will never be his strong point in the Prem.
-
He's now conceded 53% of shots on target. 7 out of 13. Save rate of 47%.
-
Grinding out results. Hope we can keep it up and the loss of tella and Adams won't tip the scales. Great finish by Armstrong who is relishing the extra time and space in this league.
