Fuck me our passing is so slow! Play it quicker and in front of the man. Everybody is so fucking eager to come short rather than make a run into the box.
-
How do we intend to score when nobody is getting in the fucking box???
-
Is Armstrong pissed?
-
Growing into it. We'll score in the next 10 minutes.
-
Armstrong's passing and link up is piss poor.
-
Who's the co-commentator? Already negative about everything we do.
-
Smallbone gives the ball away so much. He did it a few times v Leeds before he got his goal and seemed to settle down.
-
Great distribution.
-
Martin just said the way we played in the first half including not having as much of the ball was a subconscious choice by the players after the recent run of results we had. Not sure I'd have admitted that.
-
Pretty sure Harry was talking about Armstrong.

Having read the explanation isn't it the case that the VAR official didn't realise the goal had been disallowed? So essentially he was working under the assumption that the goal was given and believed he was checking to see if the goal was disallowed. He then saw the goal was onside, told the ref that the check was complete and the on field decision stands and only after they restarted did they realise their cock up. Huge breakdown in communication between the officials, inexcusable.

Just don't understand why they are using current referees for VAR, all mates and chums working together not wanting to make each other look stupid. VAR should be an independent pool of newly hired and trained officials that have no problem telling a referee that they're a blind c*nt and need to go change their decision.

2 sub appearances for a grand total of 29 minutes.
-
He was immediately further forward than Adams when he came on though?
-
Something I haven't seen mentioned...what was with Bree coming on and playing up front?
-
An obsession with playing a certain way instead of looking at the players we have and playing to their strengths.
-
Will keep an eye on how he does, such a great pro and excellent player to boot.
-
Yeah no need for that. VAR was supposed to eliminate the human error element of it, the only criticism should have been how much it slows the game down. The first step they need to take is stop pairing up referees as VAR/match official combos. Hire and train a group of people specifically to run VAR and have them randomly paired, you shouldn't have colleagues/mates working together in a role that literally requires you to say "you're wrong, change your mind in front of millions of people". There's also nothing wrong with having the VAR official just overrule the referee on the pitch. IIRC in NFL the referee doesn't go to the screen for every decision.

He absolutely let them get away with more, both in terms of not giving freekicks for identical fouls and not booking them for multiple challenges that we immediately got a booking for on the first offence.

Atmosphere in the Chapel (and in general)
Saint_clark replied to niceandfriendly's topic in The Saints
Yeah not a chance. Where I bought my ticket at the back of 15 there was only two seats available when I went on, but there were loads of empty seats around me. Was happy to get involved with the atmosphere, just a shame so many of the Chapel lot don't want to get involved and instead look round and stare at those who are chanting. -
A good win is promising. Consistency is what we're after.
-
I chucked a fiver on them at half time I have to admit.
-
The extra time and space is the quality of the defending rather him being confident or suddenly turning himself around. I still wouldn't want him in our starting line up if we got promoted.
-
Thought it was a terrible sub to be honest, Sulemana was having a great game defensively as well as going forward and Fraser when he came on ran around aimlessly and did very little of anything.
-
Adams will be fuming.
