Atmosphere in the Chapel (and in general)

Over the moon to finally get that off my back. -
United losing at home to Palace and City losing to Wolves as well.
-
More direct today and much better for it. Hopefully it lasts.
-
Good first half lads, tactics working, let's revert to what wasn't working for the second half.
-
Quoted so you can't edit and go back on it.
-
I've figured it out. We're shooting towards the northam second half. Long running debate as to whether we should do that permanently, let's give it a go ffs.
-
Charles on for Smallbone and I think we will.
-
And look how much better we look going direct. My only worry is how quickly we slipped back into slow passing sideways and backwards when there were good options through/over.
-
Baz looks a lot better today - still critical of how early he dives though. That save he made from long range early on he dove so early that he had to adjust and make the save in front of his chest, looked a lot more awkward than it needed to if he'd just waited half a second to dive. His long range passing is better than I've seen it so far.

They did.
-
Edozie being dropped makes even less sense now, I assumed he was dropped last game to be rested for this one.
-
Downes and Smallbone need to just sit in midfield and not get any further forward than about 10 yards into their half.
-
At the stadium, not feeling the enthusiastic optimism I used to. Hopefully they can change that.
-
Quoting the 9/11 bombers now.

All booked up. Sorry everyone but I just went back through, I haven't seen us win in person since 2017. -

Back in Southampton for work over the weekend so might head to the game by myself, back of block 15 is the location of the revolution right? -
Started with the club pricing out a lot of the fans who had stuck with them all the way to league one and back. Whatever happened to that discount for fans who had a season ticket in league one by the way? Then dire performances at home consistently since Puel and what do you expect? The fans tried at the start of this season, the atmosphere really picked up - but the performances have been worse this season than last season, whether or not you take into account the quality of the opposition.

It's so frustrating seeing a team that could successfully play direct football, over the top or through for A. Armstrong, Sully, Edozie, Amo-Ameyeaw, hell even the likes of Mara and S. Armstrong have got decent pace. With Che also there to hold it up when it goes long or he comes deep. We don't even need the midfield to be anything superb, the lack of attacking quality in Smallbone, Charles and Downes wouldn't matter if they were literally just there to be a barrier in front of the defence and hit early balls to the forwards.

I thought that, he signed in the summer just after it didn't he? This is the sort of thing that's fine if they're just meeting everyone in hospitality before/after a game, but as a special event that you sell tickets for? Could be a bit awkward if they only sell half the seats.

Progress on HS2. But apparently we care so much that we need to wear shirts about it, and we're all waiting for the day that someone comes out and announces they're homosexual so we can...actually, i'm not really sure why we need someone to do that.
-
For half a second I thought you were being serious when I looked at the shirt, but it isn't actually in there.

I'll never forget the predictions on how many Skacel was going to bang in in this league. Some people genuinely thought he was going to get 30+.

Christmas day armistice wouldn't happen, Germans would kick the ball to our trench and Bazunu would let it fly right past him.

Things have been crap. But I always hate the "we're a joke, we're a laughing stock" etc narrative. Nobody else, except Pompey, cares.

I get the feeling that Martin is trying to replicate Peps style without understanding why they do certain things that they do.
