...which clubs are going to be brave enough to stop doing the minutes silence for the NHS then?

The Championship season was the last good home shirt. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

Think people are doing Rickie an incredible disservice. He was one of only four players in Europe to get double figures for goals and assists in his last season with us IIRC. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

Can't remember who it was against but Ricardo Fuller had an abysmal game in the championship for us, missed about 6 golden chances including a header from 6 yards out that he somehow cleared away from goal [emoji23] Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone. She's responding well to the antibiotics, her breathing is up and down though. She's in good spirits but I'm quietly worried about her getting through the 10-15 day after symptoms period that I keep reading is the danger zone. That really is fantastic...is that something they're doing for all season ticket holders? Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

My mum was diagnosed with it earlier this week and at 9pm today was taken to hospital and put straight on oxygen. Praying she doesn't get out on a ventilator as everything I read about that says that once you get to that stage it's 50/50... Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

Still going to work at a prison every day so yeah I am. The players together initiative is fantastic, and I guess I am being harsh with these deferrals, it means staff will be fully paid and won't be taking any funds from the government's furlough pot. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

They also haven't really given up anything, just agreed to be paid it at a later date. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

So are these wages deferred after tax has been paid? I don't like the idea of wages being reduced and there being a drop in tax revenue, seems counter productive. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

They were clearly downplaying it when they said he was going in for tests. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

The only fact that sticks in my brain from reading the book is that statistically from corners more goals are scored from in swinging ones that drop into the near post, and that the place the ball is most likely to land when cleared is at the near side corner of the box and when Bolton adjusted their corner taking to that style and stuck a man in that area they scored more goals from corners than anyone else that season. Thankfully my elderly father, despite being massively stubborn up to the point, is taking the instructions seriously and isn't leaving the house anymore. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

You have to swap back at the end mate, can't get rid of her that way. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

They're not, when I last checked Italy's mortality rate a few days ago it was around 7%, can't imagine it's too different now. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

I think you'll certainly see players that otherwise would have gone on a free agreeing to a year extension on the same terms, or even reduced in some cases. For once the club's hold the power as otherwise players will go without pay for a year. Could benefit us long term if the season is cancelled and the Prem pays out compensation to clubs, deadwood one year closer to release with their wages partly covered etc. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

Clubs won't sign players and pay their wages if there's a chance next season won't be played. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

Rather funny how quick they are to shut up shop. Germany closing its land borders, I thought we were trying to do away with them. So much for an ever closer union. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

To be honest mate I would be surprised to see any club make any signings. Not sure how governing bodies can open the transfer window when the season won't have ended yet. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

I'm registered as his carer and have moved back in with him, so I'm already taking care of him in a lot of ways he just likes to keep his independence and go out every now and then. As I said in the first post I have explained it all to him and offered to get anything he needs from anywhere myself, but he's refusing. I cant exactly lock him in the house. There is a slightly more niche issue. My dad is 79 with heart and lung problems galore so is ripe for this viruses picking. However he also has cognitive issues, can't get to grips with complex ideas easily, can't remember much of what you tell him. He is however able to get out and about (just). So despite sitting him down and telling him he needs to stay in as much as possible, that I can do everything he needs in regards of going to town or the bank, he is still insisting on going out tomorrow to the supermarket and the bank. He's not being selfish, he just doesn't understand what's going on. What the hell am I supposed to do? Been tearing my hair out thinking about him using the cash machine after someone's coughed the virus up all over it. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

I thought it had been confirmed you can be infected more than once? If so letting it burn through the lower risk people seems like a **** poor idea as it will just keep bouncing around all of them anyway. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

The Sunday Times - Southampton put up for sale at £250m

A football club that potentially won't play any games until 2021/2022. Can't see many investors jumping at the chance. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk -
