Don't think anyone is trying to make any kind of political statement with it, it's just a fairer and more competitive way of doing it. You could be the worst team one season and with some shrewd additions in the off-season be in the superbowl the season after.

Other than Hojberg for Romeu that's probably the team I would have picked. We now need to back it up with an attacking performance - get the ball wide and get crosses in for Carillo, Boufal, Lemina and the opposite winger to attack

The NFL style with wage caps and a draft at the end of the season is a great model, honestly wouldn't mind a complete revamp of football along those lines. Will never happen though.
