  1. Want to know the real f*cked up thing? If he was searched by a woman it's considered fine by the authorities. If he was searched by a man, well then that has broken the rules and you can report them. I don't think you should (unless you feel they were being inappropriate) just pointing out how ****ed up it is that the rules surrounding searching children automatically assumes that men are more likely to want to touch up kids. As for him being searched, as long as you were present, gave consent and it was by a woman then it's perfectly legal. If you wanted to refuse consent they probably would have let you in eventually but would have been entitled to refuse him entry and then refuse you entry on the grounds that a minor couldn't be left unaccompanied. 2. There goes all the optimism for this season.
  3. Jesus christ......
  4. I don't buy the wind excuse, but it isn't the same for both teams - it blows in one direction.
  5. Obafemi on for Ings.
  6. Well, ****.
  7. I'd like to see Boufal or Djenepo on for Ings.
  8. And so it begins!! Another day JWP, Adams and Redmond would have buried their chances and we'd be creaming ourselves. Finishing isn't as clinical as it could be but the performance has been good so far.
  9. Well that's 8 attempts on goal to their 2 so far. Need to be more clinical.
  10. Premier League have already said that they don't want referees going over to review decisions, just the VAR officials letting him know what actually happened.
  11. Apparently VAR officials can't overturn a referees decision on level of punishment for a foul if he accurately describes what they're seeing on the screen.
  12. Wrong, the Prem have already said referees are instructed to allow play to continue after the linesman flags and if a goal is scored then check VAR. That's why players are being told in the pre-match briefing by the ref to ignore the linesman completely and play to the whistle.
  13. The comment from Flashscores... Not accurate then?
  14. Why is Yoshida not starting...?
  15. Used Flashscores.co.uk rather than BBC, updates instantly whereas BBC is always about 5 minutes behind.
  16. Crikey, that's way too young. So sad reading that tweet above knowing he was happy in that moment and now it's all over. RIP.
  17. FFS the Flashscores commentary nearly gave me a heart attack there;
  18. Stephens. Stephens. ...Stephens.
  19. Interview with Hasenhuttl headlined by a quote from Hojberg! Great read though. Will be keeping a close eye on what we do when opponents play a long pass cross field... Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  20. Because that's part of what kit manufacturers pay for, each and every fan becoming a billboard for their company. It's why the only shirt I wear is the 125 year anniversary kit.
  21. You know the seasons getting close when this thread appears each summer...like the coca cola advert appearing on TV near christmas time.
  22. He didn't apply himself when supposedly playing for the move he wants, so don't hold your breath.
  23. It will only work when playing 3 at the back, effectively using the third defender as a defensive midfielder stepping forward to close down while the other two cover. When (if) playing 4 at the back, I fully expect Romeu to be starting.
  24. One thing I am excited about is that both Ings and Adams seem able to drop off with the ball and pick out a good pass to overlapping players. A front 3 of any combination of them, Redmond or Djenepo could cause problems for almost any defence (aside from possibly the top 2).
