Good effort forster. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk

For the love of god, let Redmond be playing on the right. He'll have a great game if he plays out there.
-
Well they clearly are, they've proven that this season against better teams than us. The problem is more the fact that we've slipped so much that they're better than us.
-
The cross should have been stopped and Yoshida lost his man, yes. But Forster also should be commanding the 6 yard box (ffs, most keepers talk about commanding their 18 yard box!). The difference being that our fullbacks have proven themselves capable of stopping crosses and Yoshida has proven himself capable of marking well, so these aren't common events. But Forster being static, refusing to move to try and claim a cross, is a regular occurrence.
-
Sorry, but having just seen it I totally disagree. The ball was high and into the 6 yard box - regardless of anything else, those should ALWAYS be claimed by the keeper. Especially one of the tallest in the league.
-
We'll find out on boxing day, won't we. Pellegrino said VVD was out to keep him fresh for the busy christmas period.
-
I'd say that's a safe bet...
-
Haven't seen many people talking about Forster for the goal - the cross was high and into the 6 yard box, he should have been coming for that every time. ESPECIALLY if he had no intention of diving for the header.
-
I agree. On the left. However, on the two occasions I've seen him out on the right wing this season - briefly today and away to Bournemouth, where he set up a goal for Austin - he's looked much better as he's able to drive at the byline and get the ball in on his stronger foot, instead of having to cut back inside every single time. My point is this - if you're going to keep faith with him and give him a run of games, put him in the position where he's actually looked good for us. He even looked better under Puel playing up front than out on the left.
-
Yeah, no thanks for me either. We need to go for someone with pedigree and gravitas as we did with Koeman. With the sale of Van Dijk happening by next summer at the latest, we can afford to spend some money on a manager that's currently employed somewhere else.
-
Hopefully he is gone - and if we are selling Van Dijk as I think we should, then we can afford to go for a manager that's currently in employment.
-
One occasion in the first half where he got out to the right, he played a fantastic one two with someone and got a great cross in which was blocked. I think that's what makes this squad even more frustrating and depressing than anything we had on our slide down the leagues - the wasted potential.

Why is Boufal given 3 or 4 games in the side and then dropped despite looking Good, whereas Redmond has been given most of the season and looked ****? Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk

With relegation almost a certainty, who stays and who goes?

How do you figure that? He was given a run of games where he did next to f*ck all, was dropped for Long who did the same and then put back in the team ahead of Austin before continuing to do f*ck all again. It was only recently Austin was given a run of games and actually scored - you think Gabbi should have been playing instead? Other than his first 6 or 7 games he has shown nothing to suggest he is good enough. Another Saganowski. -
Seeing as they refused to show a replay from the other angle I can't be sure but it looked a very soft freekick anyway. It's irrelevant - it was either a freekick or Hazard having a free shot from the edge of the box unmarked. Point is, Forster still took 4 or 5 clumsy steps to get from the centre of the goal to the right hand side, stumbling all the way, and unsurprisingly didn't get there in time.

A good performance completely undone because our keeper is so f*cking slow. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk

No-ones laughing at us mate, no-one cares.
-
Absolutely. People are throwing a hissy fit about the selection but Van Dijk has been criticised all season for his commitment and Lemina looked poor when he came back from injury and has been dropped sporadically by Pellegrino - I don't think Lemina really wants to be here and wants to move on asap.

Plays well V Bournemouth on the right to justify being included again...gets picked on the left. ****ing mental. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk

****ing Cedric. Go back to 3 at the back you ****, you found a decent formation. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk

**** sake Austin you have to score there Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk

****ing awful from Lemina. Austin's had enough the midfields inability to win and keep the ball. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk

Adkins but He's just gone to a new club, AVB or the blokey at Sheffield United. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk

We need to do something we haven't done since Cortese was here - get a manager who is currently with a club rather than picking the mediocre of a bad bunch. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk

Talks about no fight, no guts...suggests bringing on Gabbiadini. Lol. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk
