Maybe they did, but didn't they say on MOTD last night that only 3 teams have ever had a better start in the top flight? United will break records this season, and that doesn't involve having two bad results in a row.
Don't be absurd, getting upset about not beating United is almost as ridiculous as those people who complained we "only" drew away to Chelsea.
In all honesty, I'd be happy with 3 points from these 3 games.
It's unfortunate that Pochettinos first three games are all ones that we could have quite easily lost under Adkins, as you just know people won't be as forgiving now. The first time we can start to complain, for me, is Wigan away.
First sniff of discontent among the supporters and the usual suspects coming crawling out the woodwork sensing an opportunity to put themselves forward as the 'voice of a fans'.
Letter/email to the club c/o Cortese. This is probably the best way to get your feelings across rather than launching vitriol at any and all on monday.
I was just correcting someone that's all. Strange how their first priority was slating the new guy with misinformation.
I am devastated for Adkins, really I am...but I still believe we can stay up, and I remember these exact reactions (although I'll accept on a lower scale) when Adkins replaced Pardew.
As I said before - if this "disgusting, ridiculous" managerial change works out half as well as the last one, we'll be flying.
Well, I would have stuck with Adkins if we had got relegated and given him next season to get us promoted, so only fair I do the same for the new guy. As long as we don't go down with a whimper.
