No holding midfielder there either, but in all honesty I haven't heard of a single decent English defensive mid coming through. That's a bit of a problem.

F*cking awful pass from Townsend there.

So how much of a look is Hodgson planning to get at Lambert?

He doesn't score regularly so people do manage it.

So Hodgson says he wants to have a look at Lambert tonight, and it looks like he's going to give him a maximum of half an hour to prove himself.

Townsend and Walker look like they're FIFA players, trying as many tricks and turns as they can and just f*cking it up. They're not thinking about what they're doing.

It's not a huge work out, not far to travel, and plenty of time to rest before saturday.

Ian Wright - "you look at Lallana or Cleverley who might not be good enough, but the rest of the team are pretty strong". C*ck.

I quit, citing you as a reason.

You're so full of sh*t.

No, this season. He looked a lot better for a while before his injury, especially for England.

Because he's been injured.

When was he a berk before out of interest? I find it hard to believe that is actually him, making a comment like that about being highest paid blah blah blah would see your team mates get f*cked off with you pretty sharpish.

Very good, but looks like they're practicing on a much smaller pitch.

Because the amount of retweets determined how much he donated ffs.

Dont be an idiot all your life, in this case the whole point was to raise awareness by giving people a reason to retweet.

Bit creepy.

Oh wait, none of this thread was funny.

Of course they are, they've almost all managed it at club level at some point.

Not for England they haven't been. Cleverley improved a lot over the summer, and has only been held back from playing a few games this season because of injury. He'll be one of Uniteds top performers in the second half of this season.

Rooney will be next captain and Wilshere after that. JWP will only get a couple of years after Wilshere retires, if at all.

Cleverly in for Henderson, and I think that's spot on. Side note, I think Clyne will take Johnsons spot if he takes anyones...

How the f*ck is that a booking for Smalling, and not a red for Jara?

You must have your f*cking eyes shut then, why do you think our CBs have such high passing statistics.

Erm no, they're doing what we do - their manager is from the same footballing "school" as Pochettino.
