Good, then you should know that it was because we didn't need to spend big as the first 11 was already sorted. All we needed to buy last summer was squad players.

I'd say the 5 year plan accommodates for 2 years in the Championship, but no more. As I keep pointing out though, the league position of the team is only one aspect of the 5 year plan - this is highlighted by Cortese saying we were actually ahead of schedule half way through last season.

Brighton are spending an absolute bomb on their facilities/stock. It's completely unsustainable for a club of their size. Unless Bloom can get them established in the Prem they're gonna go on a downer again once his money runs out.

I think it's one of those annoying technical things where they have to announce the original date...they can't just use common sense and arrange a "safe" kick off time from the start of the season.
