  1. Well, Power Play Golf is endorsed by European Tour, so they will be keeping a watchful eye on proceedings as it was intented as a vehicle to expand the "excitement" of golf in Asia. They had one televised event last year at Celtic Manor and it can be guessed that something else was in the process of being booked and committed to... ET will not want that to go quietly into a long dark Hong Kong night The World Rally Championship is a pretty major event and they may wish to be careful about their TV rights considering that they survive on Corporate Sponsorship And. let's face it, in the face of a "Theft" (as quoted elsewhere) of US$1.3 BILLION, does anyone REALLY think that Chinny's last minute document would stand up to scrutiny in European Courts? Hmm in the light of that there could be a possible argument that AA's appointment itsaelf could get contested by those chasing the asset freezing train. AA is not popular in his industry and we may enjoy a forthcoming AA vs Interpol battle. Somehow I don't think the General Public of the Baltics would settle for a never to be paid 25%, AND he won't have the chance to play the inflate creditors with football Debts trick when it comes to voting for a CVA May be wrong but it will be fun to watch Again
  2. Thing is UP, there is another set of stats that needs to go hand in hand with the data you've questioned, and part of that may help the answer. These days, it's extremely rare to get "A Job for Life". People chop and change much more regularly. Also you have the whole world of name changes & M&A's. When I started working GEC & Marconi had great schemes, I could have been set up for life, but where are they now? Going back to my pre expat days, I worked for 3 or 4 years and moved up the ladder. I would have a scheme but then it became horrific to try and move it, great lumps would disappear in "transfer costs and fees" and by the time you had it in the new scheme it would be time to move on up the ladder again. At age 20 something, out of Uni & in debt it is VERY hard to see how you will stay in the same job long enough to earn the number of years service to gain a full pension so "What's the point". So you never get into the habit. Think the actual answer lies in a slightly dfifferent question, Is it time to totally review the entire "Pensions Industry" after all the money you pay in every month has to be invested in someone like Friends Provident who then employ armies of administrators and call centres in large buildings and then let their Investment Bankers put your money into CDS & Derivatives and and and.. Surely there must be more simple ways for people to make their own investment choices on-line these days. Is it right that everyone pays other people to look after their money? Is it a fault of the benefits society that nobody pays in - all assuming everything will come out alright, or is it that in the modern working era Individual Company Schemes have become dinosaurs because of chopping and changing to move up a career ladder? Sure SOME people stay for the number of years to get the full benefit but many many do not. Down here for us - we get nothing nada nowt, if we don't save we will starve to death when we finally come home. But it ain't that easy back there because of all the tax concessions etc.

  6. Dear BTF You (and we) have just been screwed by David Conn. Apparently he's just been on Talksport and said Pompey fans knew all this they found out by googling Antonov I think it is time for one of you lot to post a comment on one of his articles
  7. Don't get confused. Not comparing Admins. The FL statement is not related to any "future" admin for poopey. They were more simple than that - IF the FL think poppey have had a 10.5mil bung they won't have to pay back then they will get a points deduction. That is WITHOUT worrying about selling the club (again) paying the running costs (again) OR paying off Chinny, and it is WITHOUT worrying about meeting the terms of the CVA payments for which they would ALSO be deducted points. No pay back the 10.5mil? Points deduction. THEN add up all that money as a League One Club? 40mil to buy them. Another Admin - another points deduction - League 1? nah they could ,iss that even IF they were kept alive straight to L2 or BSQ is a real possibility
  8. The logic comes from the FL comment in the Torygraph. Forget any extra admin etc, what the FL "will be watching" is that PCFC do not gain any competitive advantage from their debts being "forgotten about" - in other words, they have had 10.5mil from CSI since June. I cannot believe that cash was given as new shares in that space of time - I am convinced it will be some form of loan note or bank guarantee. Now with CSI bust PCFC would owe that money to the Administrator. The FL will want to ensure that PCFC HAVE to pay all of that back (not 10p in the pound) or they could say that is dodgy debt avoidance and slap deduction without PCFC being in admin again. IF someone NEW wants to buy PCFC then BESIDES the leakage of money from losses THEY will have to repay that loan. AND then Chinny STILL has his legal charges for HIS money that CSI (appear) not to have paid. So the "have to pay debts back cost for PCFC could be 20-30 mil. SAINTS couldn't find that much WITH all their infrastructure and on TOP of that they still need propping up every month. THAT is one hell of a mess to get out of. It was the FL words - Admin again not needed they can get points docked for avoiding repaying debt!
  9. Ah ha. And there Ladies & Gentlemen we have it. CSI pumped in 10.5 million so far. They bought the club in June. We have already seen a link where PCFC are supposed to have shown Bank Guarantees from Snoras. CSI really do not seem the types who will have immediately refreshed the equity levels of PCFC and so that money will be recorded as a Loan or (maybe) a Grant. That money will need to be repaid BEFORE the FL give any approval. So ANY potential buyer will need to cover the CVA (Club will get points deduction if does not honour the CVA) AND CSI's washing machine! This looks like it could be the final nail in the coffin the buyer must cover that 10.5 mil DEBT AND the CVA payments. Or in plain English they are even MORE commercially unviable than before CSI's appearance. Yes Lumpitt, as far as Saints fans are concerned, CSI have truly been "The Real Deal" I hope that Husseklepp bloke they signed in the summer and their failure to sell players was worth it!
