(I did point out best to wait until RL fit & AL gets going. He is a Citeh fan and I did NOT need to hurt him any more today) I also pointed out he expects to come back down here for Abu Dhabi in January and if he screws it again he won't get past Immigration 2) yes they had heard the idea that Saints fans could have put CSI into PCFC from other "sources" and people were working on the story as "that could be the funniest thing ever" 3) The word that was used MORE times than any other in relation to poopey was not Crooked, Not Cheating. It was CORRUPT. Two of that list used it twice - "corrupt dealings" and "corrupt club". They are on the trail at all the major papers with researchers having been tasked by senior Journos to keep digging all the way down And every single one of them said - You lot are having a great season and You lot are playing some great football. Thing is Trousers, everyone knows (well apart from a few dinosaurs) that the world is screwed and the old ways have got us in this mess. Thing is though I ain't seen ANYONE coming up with new ways forwards. Which means - everyone for themselves, cos that's what those in power or wealth will be doing and THAT ain't gonna be pretty either

Interesting attempt at an ITK input there Pilchards. Consept is right source for the idea is right, but bit short on where you get the percentage from. IMHO the problem is simpler than that. We need to buy players - pretty clear. We stand a damned good chance of going up this season IF we get the right players. BUT to sign players we will need to offer 3 year contracts. Are we REALLY sure that those we have speculated about are capable of playing in the PL for the next 2.5 years? All very well worrying about getting dead wood off our books NOW to get the wage bill balanced, BUT how many of the current squad would fit the deadwood label NEXT season? And THEN we add 2 or 3 more potentially to the list. Tough call for the backroom staff to serve the answers on a plate to NA. None of our "targets" are proven in the PL or even at International Level. This is as big a part of the problem, buy now to get out the league or hope that our "too good for L1 team" can do it on their own. Right now it's pretty obvious we need cover for Chappers & Rickie.... But to buy PROVEN PL quality versions of them in January or cover?
