  1. With the bad news (pending) on Murty's injury, this could be great news if he does sign as it would allow Thomas to "cover" at Right Back (depending on how long Murty is out of course). Nowhere near his best position and I'd prefer a proper RB, but a reasonable solution allowing us to continue to fill the real gaps in the squad and it would help us out at set pieces.
  2. Saints Players revealed as TSW addicts! The Fringe players show their support for the legendary Bards of TSW by sporting their suggested new hairstyles in the game against Birmingham last night
  3. Good, so the journey to recovery has finally started. No doubt more bad days but sounds like we have the beginnings of a football team instead of a joke at long last I'd post a line of applauding smileys but they no longer work for old f*rts with IE7 I put it down to the focus on Fringe Players:cool:
  4. Well done tonight lads, and also to the fans. Sympathy to the Old Bill in East London - it's gone to extra time
  5. Corner 10 seconds to go KD comes up
  6. Jeez, stabbing, Dart in the head.. It's a non-entity Cup competition FFS
  7. Think he'll build the real problem areas first with the targets he has already identified. The emergency loan window is open for at least a month after the Transfer window closes so if there is a problem he can get someone in for a month or so Hants are going to beat Gloucs at the Rose Bowl 7 minutes added time
  8. FFS Trousers! That 75 minutes is around 53 minutes more than we had managed in all the other games this season! 75 today, 85 Saturday and then we'll be off and running...
  9. One minor point, could someone send the Solent commentary box a set of Binoculars they have no idea who is who on the pitch for us
  10. KD blinding save
  11. Ah it ain't Doddsy It's Rofey 12 mins to go
  12. Phew normal service resumed Lee Bowyer
  13. Brilliant build up crisp passing Lallana on a different wavelength has been absolutely superb, beating players shrewd passes. Weird
  14. Wroking hard off the ball Hassling them, giving them no space, 3 Saints players on one of theirs, Birmingham resorted to hoof ball What on EARTH was in that bottle of Cab Sav I had with dinner? Sounds like we've suddenly found ourselves a football team until the weekend
  15. You're entitled to a little bit of abuse from behind? Don't think Doddy will get asked back on the radio after that comment!
  16. Losiong Murty could be a high price to pay for a practice game (unless we get to Wembley of course)
  17. Murty getting stretchered off looks like leg braces for him Lallana is also off the pitch 4-1 sk*tes
  18. OK, WTF is going on. I watch a rerun of Police Academy 2, tune in to find Wotton playing a blinder, Lallana scoring a screamer and we're outplaying a PL team. Was it a time warp or something? reckon this team would walk the PL I reckon it must be our new haircuts or something Obviously it won't last but it cheered me up a bit
  19. Can you believe that I have trouble getting Siants Player and the first words I hear are Lallana curls one oh what a goal Sweet!
  20. They were bought in June by their mystery man so it seems (I updated the other thread not typing it all again!) http://footballblips.dailyradar.com/story/mystery_surrounds_reports_of_uae_takeover/ Think you're being unfair with the Pinnacle comparison though It's actually almost as good as the Bournemouth one.
  21. This is actually quite funny. So you've had a new owner since June of this year and yet you didn't know about it http://footballblips.dailyradar.com/story/mystery_surrounds_reports_of_uae_takeover/ Ras Al Khamaih is a growing emirate about 1 hour north of Dubai. It has built a very nice Golf resort Al Hamra Fort and is best known locally as home of MMI Cellars, purveoyors of fine wines without needing a booze licence. RAK is probably ranked as the 5th Emirate here. They went on a "let's follow Dubai| scramble and opened a Free Trade Zone which allows ex pats to have a business here cheaper than with other zones. There has been a lot of building of late, probably best known for RAK Ceramics. His personal pilot is a nice bloke, a Brit, good golfer, the bulk of the cabin crew are African. So in summary, the family have personal wealth, but the RAK Development COmpany who are building several thousand villas around the Al Hamra course and other developments aimed at promoting tourism announced earlier this year that in the first quarter of 2009 and they managed to sell.... Absolutely zero of the villas they were building. Decent guys, not zillionaires though
  22. Funnily enough, in their early days, one of the Al Thani's was one of the pilots. They were renowned for suddenly diverting to somewhere that he wanted to go to.... I assume the new owner isn't announced (at least in this thread) not to worry Friday is coming soon
  23. All very well, but what's his hairstylist going to say
  24. Nah get that knee bend in there, feet close together, front foot stance open, weight on the front foot ball forward in the stance club head back level with the knee and whoosh 180 yards no problem with the lob wedge
  25. You have to be so quick on here, the competition is really cut-throat
