It was bizarre. The gave the totals for the whole of the Donbass of the people who had voted so far up till 2pm today. The story was uploaded at 2.22pm. So they counted all the paper votes (not electronic) collated the number from however many polling stations there are and wrote the story all within 22 minutes. Been 'amended' now,

I just read a story in RIA Novosti in which they stated that so far in the Donbass 'referenda' 97% of people voted in favour, 3% were unsure and no-one voted against. Not one person out of 6,3 million people. It's almost as if the propaganda people are deliberately signalling 'we are lying to you'

But the nutters are power or money hungry. You dont get much of either in a country of ashes.

Presumably at considerable cost the British Legion sent me an unsolicited wooden cross with a poppy attached to it together with a syrupy guilt trip message designed to force me to donate. Welcome but still small. There are over 200 districts in Moscow alone with 450 councillors. Probs slightly smaller number in St Petersburg. 18 is nothing sadly.
