The problem is that some people want to censor those who cheat lie and hate and another group want to silence those who speak the truth to those who cheat lie and hate. To some extent who is in what group depends not just on your views, but what kind of political or religious regime you're living under. If you keep politics off a platform you'd have to also keep religion off and social issues - after all education, culture, race, sexuality etc also have political dimensions. All that would left is the weather. I don't know what the definitive answer is, apart from euthanising the vile and the gullible - and who is going to judge who fits that description....

You cant expect people to stay indoors for two months watching Netflix. There is nothing wrong with walking or biking in open countryside with members of your own bubble. I watched a couple of videos of the shooting. She was part of a large chanting group breaking down a door in a Congress corridor which had been barricaded. On the other side there was a sole security guard protecting a group of frightened people. They were warned to stop and the protstors could see and hear the warning. She broke a window and climbed through and was shot once. Seems like proportionate use of force to me.
