The Vic of 5 years ago, maybe. He’s injured most of the time now.

You are, literally, the only person suggesting relegation yet suggest 11th is being unrealistic. Most, including RH, are suggesting somewhere around 14th.

Now playing for the mighty Gulls, TUFC. [video=youtube_share;QBYwzbQ2oq4]

How would “getting off single figures” be #progress, unless he was going to be Scratch, which is unlikely.
-
I see Martin Cranie has just scored for Luton. He’s had a good, largely Championship, career TBF.
-
Not impossible given the Shawcross situation

There really is very little difference in the standard from National League to EFL2. Are Woking full time professional?
-
And it’s clear that it still is the business model. And no shame in it. In the absence of external investment, it’s the only way the model works.
-
You seem to be very well clued in on individual salaries and the clubs internal finances. Who are you?

TBH I’m pretty miffed with any game date/time that doesn’t fit in with my personal calendar. I’m even more miffed when not particularly close family members get married without consulting the Saints fixture list first - it’s in the public domain ffs.
-
Sorry, you agree that the only plausible explanation is a full out between him and RH. Really? Whether it is the case or not, it certainly isn’t the only plausible explanation.

I’ve not finished bothering you yet. My reply was very carefully crafted to show that since our return to the PL, we have produced a constant flow of PL quality players - perhaps more than any other, I can’t be arsed to find out. Whether, in your subjective view, they are “rated” or not is immaterial - they have in the case of the older players continued to play a significant number of PL games. In any event, your point was not about the quality of players produced, but whether or not we are developing them. I would argue O’Bafemi, Vokins and Slattery show the development process continues. In short, we’re pretty good at it. PS I forgot Callum Chambers. X

So England International James Ward-Prowse, the £17m rated left back Matt Targett, Jack Stephens, Yan Vallery, Michael O’bafemi, Callum Slattery, Jake Vokins, Luke Shaw is not sufficient for you?

What’s Dennis Rofe up to I wonder?

McBurnie £17m

Just trying to help Supersaint envision how we could raise £30m  So we are agreed that, even on your pessimistic numbers, Lemina plus 2 could see us raise £30m. Not that I think we’ll spend £30m on a CB.

Boufal £8m Reed £5m Carrillo £8m Austin £8m Lemina £15m Hesketh £3m Hoedt £10m Stephens £8m McCarthy £10m HTH

Why so? Perhaps he, or his family, couldn’t settle. Likely to be something as simple as that imo.

No. It’s an affront to every right thinking, non-replica-shirt wearing, non-match going, real-ale drinking fan. It’s emblematic of the way football has changed. I want my football at 3 o’clock on a ****ing Saturday afternoon. In a dilapidated stadium. I want to stand on an uncovered, over-crowded terrace in the ****ing rain. I want to get soaked through when I go for a **** in open air urinals in said rain. I want my football to be played by a group of so called professionals who were down the pub, or the bookies, until 15 minutes before kick off, and whose idea of a subtle pass is to hoof it 50 yards in to space for a lumbering centre forward to run on to. But most of all, by Christ, I want tackles. Whatever happened to tackling and getting stuck-in? Perhaps Fratton is an option.
-
Jeez, what were some of you expecting? The Taj Mahal? The Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of Wildebeest sweeping majestically through the cement works?
-
Precisely. What’s the point? Should have gone for Allardice or Moyes, at least then we would be in for certain misery.
