Saints 2-0 Man City - The Treble is STILL on!
Totton Saint replied to Lighthouse's topic in The Saints
I thought the Sky commentator was excellent. His naming the players who received the ball each time from a pass made viewing it on the tele so much more enjoyable, and his comments were good I cannot overstate how well Saints played. Absolutely sumptous!! -

Let's hope you are right. Any one who goes to the match this weather must be masochist though -
I was living at Reading 53/54 season and was a Reading supporter. I went to the Dell to on a football special train (remember them? ) to watch them play Saints but being only 13 could not see a thing because I was being crushed in among adults. moved to Totton late 50"s and became a Saints supporter with my school pals

Just seen you post after mine showed up below yours. So I was right in my guess.

and at least you can almost be certain that as Man City are our opponents it will be televised.

I feel for the English fans who paid to watch the game, not forgetting travel and living costs. I felt sorry for myself wasting 2 hours watching it on TV. Will watch France this pm as an antidote

Saints 1-1 (p6-5) Sheffield Wednesday - Match Thread

I would not be surprised if JWP is given a rest. He misses Romeo. -
Yes and all the goalies long kicks were gobbled up by Newcastle and we lost possession for ages. Same with the long throws in how Neanderthal As for JWP'S slow floaty corners, all they achieved was giving the Newcastle defenders time to watch the ball coming and get into a position too] head clear

I remember Big Bad John and Gabriel. What about Hollowood and Jimmmy Steel?
-
when you consider our two best full backs are injured , it jjust shows w have some depth on the squad. Well played lads

What is the point of Saints having a web site if do not keep us informed of Che's situation
-
You don't have to read his posts

I also noticed how tires Peraud looked as he came off. It was understandable. Played his socks off.
-
I thought Salusi had a good game as did Pereu.
-
we did string Quite a few passes together. Look at the build up to Chez's goal for example. What sort of fan are you?
