  1. Ralph has more than hinted Armstrong will play. As long as keeps his hand away from the ball he will be OK.
  2. I will be glad when the team is announced. Getting tired reading about Stephens merits or otherwise compared to Salisu. We need Walcott and Adams to be on song that's ofr sure
  3. Who would you play up front with Redders ? What about Adams as well
  4. If he has been injured I doubt they would risk aggravating it by playing him. Ralph admitted it was a risk playing him vs Man City (and it backfired.)
  5. Saints communications office have had plenty of time to assess the severity or otherwise of Ing,s hamstring and let us, the great unwashed, know what the situation is
  6. There is a very interesting piece on Saints in the Daily Telegraph sports section pages 10 and eleven. Elsewhere it's full of City stuff. If we beat them it will do wonders for Saints morale and perhaps the media will take us seriously. Pep says Romeo is one of the best midfielders in the Prem.
  7. I would go along with that. Seems like a good ploy to me from what little I know from afar
  8. Only Ralph can assess who needs a rest or not. On the basis of a bird (or points) are worth two in the bush, I would play our strongest team and the think about resting players vs the Fulhams of this world.
  9. Thanks very much Igseycmd
  10. Has anyone seen the Amazon advert and the fact that despite we are in the top four, the photos of footballers at the bottom of the advert do not include on Saints player. What a mentality.
  11. Once one has subscribed to Amazon prime how do you call up the Arsenal game on your TV or computer please. My remote only has an Netflix button
  12. Never mind Jenas. I was appalled with Souness and Micah going on at lengthabout SU's plight and never mentioned how brilliant Saints were. Curse Amazon Prime bagging next 2 games
  13. Agreed Agreed
  14. It is good he is called a Manager and not Head Coach. I see on my phone and google we have a separate set pice coach and another for defensive work. Lets Hass get on with the managinI was purring at our slick passing, especially in tight areas. Vest was imperious. Pleased for Redders too
  15. I remember the old Div 3 South days. Reading were in the same league too.
  16. You must have seen the hat trick he scored for England then
  17. why don't you both wait until the teams are announced- no need for two fans of same club to upset one another
  18. I think Haas. deserves some credit for Vest's and Romeo's vast improvement and for having the ruthlessness to sub Moussa and bring on Ings. It made such a differnece
  19. yes - it was toe curling giving Ings the third degree trying to make him get jnto trouble and criticise the ref and VAR. Ings did well to deflect the grlling. Vest was a collussus
  20. Let's hope the degrading and humiliating act of subservience ,that taking the knee is, has been discontinued. If folks have not got the anti racism message by now they never will. I worked in Ghana once and found the people wonderful.
  21. Peter Hitchens article in today's Sunday Mail on line makes excellent further reading on this topic and gets to the very heart of the problem. Sorry I am not tech enough to provide a link. The genie is out of the bottle!
  22. must be nailbiting watching us drop to 8th waiting for Monday evening game. Let's hope it is even more of an incentive, if needed, to win.
  23. Totally agree about N'ludulu. he span away from a defender brilliantly two games ago when came on
