Once delta is completely out of the picture and the anti virals are rolled out it’s time to do away with mass testing and isolation and get on with life.

What are “normal levels”?

They’ve had nearly 2 years to lose weight. Nobody to blame but themselves.
-
It’s not pot luck. It’s usually the fatties.

In fact I’ll fire the question back at you. Theres 3 beds spare in ICU but there’s 4 patients who need a bed. Patient 1 - An alcoholic who drove back from the pub and crashed into a family of 4 killing them instantly. They’re in a bad way and need to be put in a coma. Patient 2 - A smoker of 40 years, smokes 60 a day and has had a stroke. Patient 3 - A big fatty, cholesterol levels through the roof, their clogged arteries have finally caved and they’ve had a cardiac arrest Patient 4 - An unvaccinated covid patient. Who misses out?
-
It’s a very loaded question. Tell me the lifestyle choices of the other people taking up bed space and I’ll let you know.

The government. Who have put more effort into lining their own pockets than increasing NHS capacity to sufficiently deal with a new threat.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.goal.com/en/amp/news/bale-joins-list-of-six-real-madrid-players-positive-for-covid-19-/blt4ddb66d57e0aedd3 They’re all about to go into their winter break, they don’t need to worry about being able to field 11 first team players for what should have been 4 games in the next 2 weeks.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcna7429 Climate change pal. Everybody needs to get in line and be a good citizen or they forego their right to the free healthcare that they help to fund.
-
Sounds like a them problem. Global warming isn’t going to wait around for them to save up the money.
-
They’ll be using far too much heating unnecessarily and that is selfish behaviour that contributes to global warming. Not the sort of person we want getting free healthcare that they’ve paid tax and national insurance to help fund.

They can be joined by anybody that drinks alcohol, smokes cigarettes, takes drugs, is obese, isn’t vegan, doesn’t drive an electric car, hasn’t got rid of their gas boiler, hasn’t insulated their house. The NHS is going to be pretty quiet isn’t it?

Sick of it all. We live in a country full of wet wipes that will say “I don’t want a lockdown, we shouldn’t have one” or “I hate wearing/seeing masks” but go along with it like a good little citizen when they come about. Same as there would be plenty that suck it up and following any Christmas mixing rules even in the face of the tories not giving one shit about any rules. We shouldn’t have the government threatening the young with “get your boosters or it’s lockdown” the young should be telling the government “put us in lockdown and your boosters will go out of date, fuck off”

It’s like snow, we’ve got the wrong type of omicron.
-
Hyperbole. You’d need 180,000 infections every day for the next year before “everyone is basically going to get it” Seems fairly unlikely doesn’t it?
-
Yeah but it’s for “the greater good” 🐑 🐑🐑
-
Being unvaccinated does not make them permanently infected.

The FIA created this mess with their bizzare decision to not allow lapped cars to overtake the safety car in the first place. If they had made the right decision at that point then we would have ended up with a 1 lap race and Verstappen still would have won but without the controversy. The car recovery was in one part of the track they had the rest of the circuit to let them go, they didn’t have to catch up to the pack to restart the race so there were no legitimate safety concerns. The result is correct, but the process was a complete clusterfuck and could end up causing the wrong result.

Our anger should be aimed at Les Reed who played a dangerous game of chicken with Koeman which triggered a downward spiral for this club.
-
Pull the other one. The majority of people under 40 got their vaccine to be able to go on holiday.
-
Why? Does our vaccine work or not? If it does work then why does someone unvaccinated make any difference if we’re protected? If it doesn’t work then why does it matter someone hasn’t had it?
