  1. That's as maybe, but I stand by what I said. We in England, have no say whatsoiever over their 'assemblys', which are one short step from devolution. So how they can have a say in the house of Westminster. As has been pointed out already, two Scottish Pm's in a row, more tax payers money spent per person in both Scotland and Wales, how is that right?
  2. Shock horror from BTF. Take out the Scottish/Welsh vote, and you'll find that the majority DID want a Tory goverment.
  3. If we had PR now...the first number is how many seats each party now holds, the second number is how many they would have got if we used PR. Libs, UKIP and BNP would gain the most! Conservative 306 -235 Labour 258 -189 Liberal Democrat 57 -150 Democratic Unionist Party 8 -4 Scottish National Party 6 -11 Sinn Fein 5 -4 Plaid Cymru 3 -4 Social Democratic & Labour Party 3 -3 Green 1 -7 Alliance Party 1 -1 UK Independence Party 0 -20 British National Party 0 -12 Ulster Conservatives and Unionists - New Force 0 -2 English Democrats 0 -1 Respect-Unity Coalition 0 -1 Traditional Unionist Voice 0 -1 Christian Party 0 -1 Independent Community and Health Concern 0 -1 Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition 0 -0 Scottish Socialist Party 0 -0 Others 1 -7 .....and this is what some of you want, God forbid!

  5. I'm sure you are!
  6. Just saying what Sky news are saying. 1. GB has resigned. 2. No further talks between Lab and Lib Dems. 3. DC will form a minority government, but Lib Dems taking vote at 1930hrs tonight, with a view to joining the Cons. Believe it, or don't believe it, no worry's from me either way.
  7. One eye has gone, and DC is on his way to take up office.
  8. If you had a peek on their forums, you would see several for sale 2nd hand;) loyal fans, you bet!
  9. As an aside, I bring you all back to the debate on FL v Poorsmouth, and the minus points saga. They face a record points deduction IMO, Not only will they start on a minus points tally, they will face further reductions as the various court cases for it's former directors, are found to be proved. Also this little matter, they may not owe the below amount, but they must owe something!:- Confusion over the extent of Portsmouth's debt is further complicated by totally separate claim for a staggering £50 million filed by the Football League Pension Fund, which covers non-playing employees of clubs and which, if genuine, would take the amount the club owe close to the £200 million barrier. An administrative error of such magnitude seems remarkable but Andronikou insists the claim is completely fictitious and that the real figure Portsmouth owe is £34,000. "I have a proxy of the proof of debt sitting on my desk but we have no idea why it has arrived. No doubt the media will make a meal of this but my impression is that is more likely simply a marker in case the club goes out of business." Football League sources also laughed off the claim saying it could not possibly be genuine since the deficit of the entire fund, covering roughly 90 clubs, was less than a third of £50 million. "Clubs are involved in helping pay off the deficit depending on how many non-playing staff they have but there is no way Portsmouth could have been asked for that sum of money," said one insider.
  10. Dalek2003 brings to the forums attention, the prospect of Glenn Hoddle becoming the new Saints manager, and how it was a travesty, that he was not allowed to return under the previous regime!
  11. Spat my coffie out. In the Echo, 'your views', a letter from Simon Hardy...'Chimes are tough here'!:smt038. I've tried to find a link, but have failed, worth a read if you have bought today's Echo;)
  12. No!..I'm hoping for double figures:smt081
  13. Documents obtained by Telegraph Sport show all of the salaries of the playing staff at the Fratton Park club and their estimated transfer value. They show the south-coast club, whose debts now stand at £138 million, still spend £657,023 a week on player wages. Goalkeeper David James is the highest-paid player, earning £40,000 a week. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I thought the administrators job, was to reduce the debt, and it seems to me, that one way was to offload their top earners. Instead, they have Storrieteller on some sort of gardening leave, a new CEO in his place, plus the admistration team!, and an agreement from the premier league, that they could sell their players. So, how many players have been sold, thus reducing their £657,023 a week wage bill, Could this be construed as unnessary debt, leaving AA's team liable?
  14. IMHO, as soon as the season is officially over, and Poor smouth are no longer the PL's responsibility, then the sh1te will hit the fan big time. Powers to be have held this together with sticky tape and chewing gum, to get the cheats to the end of the season, so as not to queer their league positioning. The house of cards is about to tumble. Also, I'm in the camp of, don't believe a word that AA say's, he also talks utter crap.
  15. What stupid t0ssers some of these mongs really are! http://www.fansonline.net/portsmouth/mb/view.php?id=267350 westbourne_blue Posted on 08/05/2010 09:43 Why would any one buy Pompey? Email Message To A Friend | Reply To Message Obviously a wind-up but I'll go first. PFC: own their own ground (just?) but have an (outside) chance of relocating to take profits from redevelopment; have a (recent) history of winning major trophies; have a large catchment area without any big competitors within a radius of about 75 miles. WOOERRERRNICKYMORGAN Posted on 08/05/2010 09:55 Why would any one buy Pompey? Email Message To A Friend | Reply To Message The scums Attendances are Reasonable, due to the Fact they literally give hundreds upon hundreds of tickets out free each Week, and others for Next to nothing,FACT!
  16. Was this ever factored in? The club simply cannot afford Grant if the stories are true about his 1m Euros a year are correct. This would represent nearly 10% of the clubs wage bill. Can't see him want into take cut in wages can you? With Belgium, possibly West Ham and others dangling carrots it is inconceivable that Grant will be the the manager next season. We all need to move on and accept he is as good as gone.
  17. Two things nick, he's now offering a referendum on PR, couldn't give us the vote on something that mattered:mad::mad: Secondly, take out the Scottish vote, and the Welsh, and you'll find the Tory's won quite comfortably., Both these 'Countrys' have their own assembly's, why the ferk do they have a say in politics down here. Let them go I say.
  18. No....he bought the company as it stood, no name change that I know of. I think that SLH as now been mothballed, I'm sure someone will come on and tell the truth of it!
  19. Labour were against it, now they have been given a bloody nose, they are all for it to get the Libdems on side.
  20. ...and this Wes, is the point that most will miss. PR will result in hung parliament for ever and a day.
  21. I see that Harriet Harmusall, is now making sound-bites about getting into bed with the Lib Dems, worked before....NOT! The Torys made gains even in areas that they didn't win the seat, this says to me, that they should Govern.
  22. Got you, bets on this 'gift' finding it's way onto the books though!
  23. Just a point here, I'm sure the informed few will enlighten us all! Chainrai has offered to pay all small unsecured debts of £2,500 or less i.e. charities etc. I thought that if any debts were settled in full, then all debts must be settled in full. Answers!
  24. Me!
  25. Portsmouth football club....PFC as they were 11 years ago. Portsmouth city football club....PCFC as they are now. They are past masters at regeneration, and binning all their debts. I trust the FA the FL, UAFA, and FIFA are all compliant in this, because as a football fan, I think it stinks.
