There's zero logic, as far as I'm able to deduce, in placing Lumley above McCarthy in the pecking order and then not playing him in the very circumstances that the second choice keeper is in the squad for.... Odd one, although I'm sure there must be a perfectly reasonable explanation we're not aware of.

You probably won't find anyone here who is losing sleep over kit selection. It's just people expressing an opinion. (Or sitting on the fence) on an internet football forum. It's those that worry about how people react to kit decisions I I feel most concerned about...

Yep.... I was only thinking the other day that it wouldn't surprise me if it turns out this season that we've had fewer academy/U21s players on the pitch than we had on average per season during our last premier league tenure. You'd have thought given we're in a lower league that such opportunities would increase rather than decrease. A lack of faith in our younger players from Russ? Or squad too bloated? Or just a lower quality of younger players available compared to previous seasons?
