  3. Is there a pre-match press conference today? Edit: Southampton FC ‏@SouthamptonFC Mauricio Pochettino will be speaking to the media at midday to preview tomorrow’s trip to @Official_CPFC. Updates to follow. #saintsfc
  4. @alex_crook: Just had a nice chat with George Burley about giving Adam Lallana his #saintsfc debut. Amazing the young players he has brought through
  5. You'd have thought so. Mr Wenger won't be happy that he played on and potentially made it worse that's f' sure.
  6. He got 3 pages out of it though. Credit where credit's due.
  7. Wilshire out for 6 weeks with hairline fracture
  8. That's made my day reading that. We've had a shortage of deranged statements recently.
  9. My player of the last 18 games is Lallana
  10. Luuuuuuuuuuke
  11. My home contents insurer reimbursed me for one that got nicked from my car last year as my policy included cover for 'personal possessions away from the home'. I even told them that I'd somewhat stupidly left the car unlocked overnight but they said as long as it wasn't in view (e.g. glove box) then they would pay up.
  12. Yep, Mr Hodgson seems to be hinting at a cameo role at best... The FA ‏@FA Hodgson: It would be nice to get Luke Shaw on the pitch but I don't want to make any promises just yet #England
  13. My pleasure kind sir

  15. IF a Pompey fan decided to post on here to wind up Saints fans, how would they go about it and would you be able to tell the difference between them doing so and one or two posters on here? Hunches aside, we've no proof that the likes of Glasgow Saint aren't Saints fans, but how does one go about telling the difference...? Wouldn't an incognito Pompey fan (for example) constantly put a negative slant on everything if they were posting on here (with the odd dash of positivity thrown in here and there to put people off the scent)?
  16. Maybe those who lean towards the right of centre don't feel the urge for political point scoring as often as those who lean towards the left of centre? (yes, I know you're 'omni-political' but... )

  18. I think we can consider the question in the thread title well and truly answered
  19. Fair points
  20. Pap's up there with Verbal when it comes to putting words in people's mouths...
  21. Since when was raising similar examples to add balance to a conversation declared invalid? Other than by the thought police on here of course. What's worse? Whataboutery or whataboutery deflection?

  23. Quick.... Someone post a photo of Maggie Thatcher standing next to Jimmy Savile...
  24. @alex_crook: Been critical of #pompey when required this season but that is a terrific point. Watched the game in the gym and thought they played well. @bigadamsport: Well deserved point for #Pompey tonight - worked really hard all night & had better chances in game
  25. Done. Can vote multiple times by the looks of things
