Sorry, what I meant is that this two days court case was supposed to be about PKF asking the judge to value the ground at the value the Trust want rather than what Chainrai wants. All Trev has done is ask for the case to be put off for 28 days. If the judge says "no, we will go ahead with the case now" that only leaves a few hours left of a 2 day case to go ahead with the case. The scenario you paint is what would happen if PKF lost the case but I think you're saying the valuation case wouldn't go ahead at all? Sorry I'm not being clear in what I mean (it's been a long day)

That non-existent company going by the name of PortCo...?

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11674/8329395/High-Court-hearing-adjourned-until-Friday-as-Portsmouth-case-continues "PKF, who fear Portsmouth will be liquidated if the sale of Fratton Park does not go through, have now asked for a delay of 28 days. And the presiding judge agreed to consider the request at 2pm on Friday" So, what happens if the judge decides at 2pm tomorrow that, no, they can't have an extra 28 days? Haven't they run out of time to conclude the case this week at that point anyway? What happens next if he doesn't agree to an extension?

Doesn't fat burn with an acrid black colour smoke?

Indeed.

They (the bestest fans) will ALWAYS have a choice not to get into bed with Chainrai.....they can boycott Fratton Park (if Chainrai regains control) and set up a phoenix club....but, of course, their obsession with retaining FL membership, and thus the links with their murky past, will always win over the much more noble route of starting afresh....

I don't think my spleen could cope with such hilarity!

I don't wish to offend but I feel we might be on the same wavelength

What if "someone" bought it on his behalf...?

My shame is complete

Meanwhile, news from the UK's soon to be second biggest fan owned club ever... @GraemeBailey: Sky Sports understands that Swansea City are lining up a January raid for England Under-21 star Craig Dawson. http://t.co/n0Evx56n

@pn_neil_allen: Trust saying discussions between PKF and Portpin are on-going for at least the next 12 hours. Trust expect to be 'informed'. #Pompey

I notice "Andy" joined the forum the day before the Trust announced Robinson had joined their team.... Just sayin'...
-
They might say that now but they have a habit of switching between heros and villains depending on which way the wind is blowing... They've had over 3 years to cast Chainrai aside by setting up a Phoenix club but the allure of artificial success gets them every time...

@SuppDirect: We're at High Court with @pompeytrust, seeing some online speculation. Facts: talks are continuing, parties will reconvene at 2pm tomorrow. Well, that's clarified things. Good job we've got Supporters Direct on hand to steer us through the murky waters...

It's the hope that kills.... Sam Singleton @SamSingletonPFC The only signal I get from this, is that the Judge seems to think this can be resolved by tomorrow. That's positive. #pompey

Matt Smith @Matt_Smith78 @pn_neil_allen do we know why an adjournment was requested?#Pompey Luke Fletcher @bigluca84 @Matt_Smith78 @pn_neil_allen Some sort of missing paper work and a firm that doesn't exist
-
@NabilHassan79: PKF confirm REL are Robinson Estates Limited, connected to property developer Stuart Robinson who had been due to buy Fratton Park

Time to check Twitter for some level headed #pompey reaction.... I may be some time....

So, assuming Chainrai wrestles back control.....is the club worth more to him dead or alive (the day after the next tranche of Parachute Payments arrive of course)....?
