  1. The Earth is insignificant. Fact.
  2. He's been omitted from the mock-ups to ensure the thread stretches to at least 50 pages with people jumping to conclusions.... ;-)
  3. It's the latter. Source? Terry Nutkins
  4. Reporting the 'fraud' to your credit card provider is free too.... But, in all seriousness, I think Watchdog would be interested in this story...especially as it has the potential for widespread appeal
  5. What are they (in summary)? Anything we didn't already know? cheers (just so we can stretch the thread to 56 pages with another earth shatteringly entertaining stadium expansion debate) ;-)

  10. What, we won't qualify for Europe by finishing 8th AND winning the FA Cup? FFS
  11. Whatever points total equates to 8th spot
  12. @solentsport: Audioboo: Pompey boss Michael Appleton speaks to @SolentSport about drawing Bournemouth first game of the season http://t.co/38Xfp7mw
  13. This smacks of a company wanting to squeeze a relatively small amount of 'excess' out of their customers so what they do is go in hard with a maximum excess demand and then reduce it to a level whereby you feel you've got a victory by getting what feels like a significant reduction. I bet this psychological tactic sucks in a fair few people (across the industry, not just with this company of course...)
  14. Thanks - royalty invoice I the post! Next move for me would be to report this fraud to your credit card company. Second, I would refer the wording of the contract to the Office of FAIR Trading. There used to be something called the "Unfair Contracts Act", which probably still exists. Basically, companies aren't LEGALLY allowed to hide behind a contract that is deemed unreasonable in the first place. And, IIRC, it's not something that you have to concern yourself with at the time of signing said contract. A contract can be deemed "unfair" retrospectively. Oh, and have you copied in Anne Robinson and Matt Albright yet...? New series coming up in the autumn..,
  15. Bishop's
  16. Chase (Lorraine)
  17. Varney: "We know if the club get liquidated we lose everything we’re owed." Via Pompey, yes, but, again, are people purposely avoiding the fact that the FL and/or the PFA compensate the players? Or do they? (yes, I know this is the same question I posed last last week but I'm none the wiser as to whether the players are covered by the FL and / or PFA if Pompey are liquidated....anyone?
  18. Top half I reckon (said Trousers guessing when he just said he wouldn't)
  19. Call me old fashioned but I'm going to wait and see rather than guess.
  20. @TonyHusbandBBC: #pompey #afcb Russian investment back at Fratton Park, Cherries at Portsmouth on opening day.
  21. That's us on TV for the first game then....?
