Oddly enough (perhaps), I think our mini-blip this month will work in our favour in terms of being able to attract a "higher profile" player or two into the side. When we were flying, you can see the likes of Sharp and co saying "I'm not going there as they've got such a strong team already I might find I don't start as many games as I'm starting here". Whereas now, they might be thinking "I could be the player that makes all the difference down there - they need a boost of fresh talent and I could be a hero for the second half of the season". Maybe. Maybe not.

Ok, fair enough. But regardless of origin (genetic or otherwise), is it wrong, per se, to have a player of is calibre (i.e. closer to the "flawed genius" end of the scale than the "huff and puff beaverer" end of the scale) in the team?
