Evenin' all The Trousers family* are off to Croatia for a holiday in a couple of weeks... Staying in a coastal town called Mlini... First visit to Croatia so looking for any tips / recommendations from anyone that has been to this area before (e.g. restaurants, bars, trips, attractions, car hire, etc) Kind thanks in anticipation my Saintsweb chums (*Family = myself, Lady Trousers, daughter, son and his girlfriend (the latter 3 in their mid twenties)) 👍🍻

I'm genuinely interested in knowing what percentage of Saints fans "never rated him". My guesstimate would be less than 10% but I suppose it will always seem more than that due to the 'vocal minority ' syndrome.

Yep, in the relatively rare times he was deployed in that role here he excelled.

I'll have to have another word with my Everton supporting brother as that isn't his recollection. I think he said he was still very error prone when at WBA (gave away lots of free kicks etc) but he endeared himself with the fans because of the effort and commitment he put in (I seem to recall Lynaco had a similar impact on many Saints fans when he first joined...). But, I agree, most of the views on WBA forums at the time were more positive than negative. Maybe they set their bar of expectation lower than fans on here typically would? Time will tell and I'm certainly prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt.
