4-4-2 with the midfield playing in diamond formation?

Cheers both. Looking more and more like a winner to me.

Cheers Eric. Sounds almost ideal to me. We'll have 11 and 14 year old kids with us so need that balance between 'too lively' and 'dead quiet'. It looks like most operators fly into Innsbruck which they say is nearer 2hrs transfer. One last query if I may...I'm not a big 'package holiday' fan but I can see the convenience factor of doing a package for a ski holiday. Any recommendations on that front? I'd rather book things separately if it's not too much hassle to hire skis etc locally. I'm thinking this might be better value for money as we're unlikely to ski morning to dusk and may skip a day or two and do something other than skiing. Cheers

Anyone been skiing in Obergurgl? Pros/cons? Any hotel recommendations? cheers!

Hmmmm......same people as these? http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews145423.html The words 'pole', 'touch', 'barge', 'with' and 'don't' spring to mind.....

Pools panel says: "score draw"

Long way off, I know, but we're thinking of next Easter (2012) for a family skiing holiday (1st week in April). Is Val Thorens good for families/beginners? Me and the missus last went skiing about 20 years ago and got up to a skill level that bordered on competent parallel skiing but the offspring (currently aged 10 and 13) will be absolute beginners (although we do intend some dry slope skiing lessons before we go)

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-12531102 UK Chancellor George Osborne's austerity plan has received the backing of the US Treasury Secretary. Timothy Geithner told the BBC that he was "very impressed, as just one man looking from a distance, at the basic strategy that he's adopted". He said Mr Osborne had been handed "problems not created by this government". But he said the chancellor had "locked his government and the coalition into a set or reforms that are very good".

Putting the local government job "cuts" into perspective

No probs. I think I've been mistaken for Alpine and Dune in one week now.....good job I'm too simple to take it personally! ;-) -

I'm not for companies such as Barclays or Vodafone "getting away with it". I think they should be taxed as much as possible - right up to just before the point at which they say "sod this for a game of soldiers, we're outa here" I simply have no idea where that threshold is. Do you? -

Saintsweb forum member puts words in other forum member's mouth shocker..... ;-) Of course companies and the rich should be taxed. It's understanding where the "take our business elsewhere" tipping point is that matters. I've no idea where that tipping point is. Does anyone? -

Why have successive governments down nothing to plug these 'loopholes'....? What's the tipping point for banks like Barclays? I.e. How much tax will they pay here before upping roots to elsewhere? (genuine question) P.s. My comment was 'Tongue-in-cheek with a semi-serious underbelly' rather than 'absurd'. Easy mistake to make though. -

I reckon the government should tell Barclays to relocate to somewhere outside the UK and take their paltry 1% tax payments with them. And the tens of thousands of jobs. -

And, if you're going to start a sentence with 'and' at least give it a capital 'A'. FFS.

Anyone else starting to worry about fixture pile-up ?

Simple solution to that....don't mix with the riff raff in the first place...now, back to your analogy... ;-)
