The 'trouble' with internet message boards is that 'rogue' posters and 'genuine' posters often come across in the same way.
So it's a 'no win' for anyone who wants to be 100% sure they're dealing with a 'genuine' poster over a 'rogue' poster.
I've lost count of the number of times on here over the last 18 months that we've had people saying to lay off supposed 'genuine' posters only for it to transpire they were in fact 'rogue' posters.
So, from past experience, there's as much justification to suspect that this thread is 'genuine' as there is to suspect it might be 'rogue'.
