Jay Rodriguez @JayRodriguez9 Buzzing to be back in full training. Getting closer to comeback! #WeMarchOn

Adam Tungatt @adachops #BarnetFC had 2557 fans at the game and 1330 were us #pompey fans. And they beat us. Wow . #tinpot They don't appear to be clever enough to realise what this means in reality.... the mighty Portsmouth are themselves so tinpot and irrelevant these days that even Barnet fans are ambivalent to turning up to watch them. #tinpotest

Talking of the SNP, I believe this represents their viewpoint...

You sound like Alex Salmond c. 2 years ago...

I'm still undecided on which way to vote and there's a likelihood that won't change between now and polling day. However, I'm not undecided because I haven't given it enough thought - On the contrary - my state of indecision is possibly more as a result of giving it 'too much' thought. In that I see a fairly balanced set of pros and cons with either eventuality. So, what should I do on polling day? Abstain, because that is the best reflection of my 'balanced' view, or should I choose one option for the sake of choosing an option? Sometimes its not easy being a pragmatist...

I can imagine the bilge that Allen & co will spew out if/when they end up in a Wembley playoff final. It would give rise to a worldwide facepalm shortage, that's for sure

Yep, agree with all that. However, I think Mr Bateman makes a reasonable underlying point. i.e. what harm would it do to schedule the game at the outset for the Sunday regardless? The only reason I can think for not going for such a common sense approach is that Sky want as few non-TV games on the Sunday as possible in order to maximise their viewer numbers. What over reason could there be? P.s. As an aside, I'm actually quite surprised it wasn't selected for Sunday broadcast by Sky anyway

Yep, here's a bigger photo for the older folk amongst us (myself included!)

Yep, quite probably. That said, there have been surprise omissions in the past. The 2006 World Cup springs to mind as one relatively recent example.... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/world_cup_2006/teams/england/4983618.stm

You're assuming I'm as politically minded in real life as I am in the online world....
-
This 'memory from 3 years ago' popped up on my Facebook timeline yesterday... Just goes to show how far they've progressed since those dark days....

There's lots of different political viewpoints in my family circle too. I know, I know. Totally bonkers. What are we like? One crazy mixed up family, that's what.

No sign of him in today's training gallery photos http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/20160217-training-gallery-southampton-post-swansea-2959374.aspx

I mentioned a while back on the JWP thread that he was my dark horse for getting a call up. There's usually at least 1 'wild card' pick in an England tournament squad and it wouldn't surprise me if JWP got the call. (don't get me wrong, I'm not expecting it to happen, just won't be surprised if it does, as JWP is one of the few players (to my knowledge) that Hodgson has openly mentioned when asked about young(er) players that are on his radar)

Anyone know what our players will be doing over the next 2 weeks? Training as per usual or will they get time off? I see that Leicester players have been given a full week off. Half expected the club to have arranged a few days away at a team building event in foreign climes, like we've done before when not involved in the FA cup at this stage of the season.
