They are right it was. When I first saw it on the Saints OS it said £125k potentially rising to £250k. Minutes later it was edited to just say it was "£125k and close to Saints valuation".

Alpine do you not realise that every team in every season has pre season games for the 1st team, reserve teams, youth teams and combinations of the three? No team in England has pre-seasons where the 1st XI plays in every friendly. Tonight's game against Eastleigh is an under 21 development squad friendly. Should these players not have any games in pre season?

Surplus premiership/Championship player loans
Matthew Le God replied to Giordano's topic in The Saints
You have misunderstood the new rule... If anything the rule makes clubs want to keep young players at the club rather than loan them. Premier League clubs need to reduce the number of players over the age of 21. They can play and use as many under the age of 21 as they like on top of the 25 squad. What Prem CLubs will be doing is selling players over 21 years old that aren't in their top 25 players. -
This article has been edited. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2108597,00.html Earlier it said £125k rising to £250k. Now it just says £125k.

Letting them know what exactly? They don't want to have it. What more do you want them to say as a reason for not having it?
-
I'd love to know your logic behind that. 1) Obviously it is a reference to the sash you don't like. That is for 1 season. It is the 125th year, the club wore it 125 years ago. That is the heritage you crave rather than a lack of heritage. 2) As for the trophy. Why does the club continuingly have to have a game for Ted Bates. He has a good memorial for his great service in the form of the statue in a prominent position outside the stadium. Tacking his name to a friendly once a year does little. Just because a traditional has been started does NOT mean it is right for it to continue indefinitely.

Isn't Herman Hreiðarsson out of contract and technically not a Pompey player until dispensation is given?

The first one is a bug which I have been trying to get them to fix and have reported it. I'm not sure what you mean by the second one, I've never seen anything like that. But that doesn't constitute a "buggy" game. This is a buggy game... or this

All the parachute money in the first year is going straight to the football creditors.

But players under the age of 21 are exempt from the 25 man squads, so it is irrelevant. -

How are those two statements connected? -
I'd guess HMRC would be interested in this if Lampitt did use this phrase... http://www.pompeyonline.com/2010/07/details-of-the-meeting-with-david-lampitt/ AT LAST An admission of guilt?

I wonder if the taxman monitors this thread in case the internet detectives on Saints Web find anything?
-
You used the phrase "no matter how we are doing". Surely if Saints were 10 points clear at the top at Christmas he wouldn't leave? I can see him being sacked IF automatic promotion isn't looking likely in Nov/Dec. But to say he'll go even if top of the League doesn't make sense.
-
Maybe his lawyers have told him to stay away because he does have a history of foot in mouth moments.

Ali Dia >>> Anthony Pulis Ali Dia had a shot on target iirc
-
I think he means the club hasn't paid the £45 million in image rights to the players that would bring about a £13 million tax bill on it.

Apart from earning only 3 fewer points than 2nd place?

FM 2010 hints, tips, cheats & gems of players / tactics
Matthew Le God replied to SO16_Saint's topic in Computer Games
You can get FM10 for under £15. FM11 will likely be out in Oct or Nov. No-one knows for certain yet. Gives you 3 or 4 months of play for £15 until FM11 so not bad value for money. Best thing to do would be try the free demo of FM10 and see if you like it... http://www.footballmanager.com/index.php?p=demo -

The game ended with this as the Saints team... Davis Butterfield Reeves Tafazoli Martin Oxlade-Chamberlain Pulis Wotton Hammond Dickson Doble Only those 3 players bold/underlined will start against Plymouth next weekend. Anyone that reads anything into the last 30 minutes is an idiot.

I'd disagree with that. They were 3rd in the Championship form charts I think for the last 23 games of 2009/10.
