  1. Sorry, its just I know Plymouth well and to describe what they are using at Marjons as a park is just wrong. They are also using the sports department of the University. Of course I agree with you that it isn't as good as having your own training ground but certainly far more advanced than a park.
  2. You make it sound like they train on the Hoe!
  3. Well you said "similar to Southampton Common". As far as I'm aware Southampton Common isn't home to a Sports University College and the facilities it has.
  4. Marjons isn't a public park, it is a Sports University College.
  5. Surely it doesn't take this long to find new contractors (if that indeed was the problem). Liebherr takeover - 8/7/09 Staplewood plans made public - 8/12/09 Planning permission granted - 13/1/10 It is now 7 months since planning permission, 8 months later from when the plans went public and 13 since the takeover - 8/8/10
  6. Papa Waigo started for Fiorentina against Tottenham on Saturday and set up their first goal.
  7. http://www.sportsjournalists.co.uk/blog/?p=2695 I think they don't realise Saints don't have a shirt sponsor, so doesn't matter in that sense so strange to use that in an argument.
  8. http://www.sportsjournalists.co.uk/blog/?p=2696 Agency deny agreeing to deal.
  9. Who took these then? http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/Gallery/0,,10280~2114628,00.html
  10. Argyle have now put this on their official site... http://www.pafc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10364~2114230,00.html Whole article is wrong. It claims fans of Saints and Argyle can't see images of the game. Anyone can see images of the game for free on Sky Sports News or BBC and any publication that does buy them. Or here... http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/Gallery/0,,10280~2114628,00.html Just because the local Plymouth paper doesn't have them doesn't mean people miss out.
  11. I know Plymouth is meant to be full of farmers, but do they really need to plough the St Mary's pitch? I don't think I've ever seen a challenge make such a big hole in the turf.
  12. So you won't be able to see pictures of Saints away games in any other place apart from the Echo? Think that statement through again Stu! What about the other teams website? National and local papers? BBC and Sky highlights? Other websites? etc etc
  13. What about this from 23rd July 2010? http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2096359,00.html
  14. Schneiderlin and Puncheon definitely did. Pictures and videos of them in full training on the OS.
  15. On what grounds?
  16. "Pompey's administrators immediately asked the court for £230,000 costs from the taxman." I don't see how they have the nerve to do that. £230k vs £24 million
  17. Well the thread is called "Pompey Takeover Saga" and they still haven't been taken over yet! Nor has the CVA finished and it won't until 2014. They have to keep up with payments or they will return back to court.
  18. Thats the end of it pretty much. Apart from if they fail to meet the terms of the CVA in the next 4 years.
  19. You'd think he would be there.
  20. I don't see how people can vote yes as both parties have said they will take it to the Court of Appeal on Friday if they lose.
  21. It doesn't matter if they stayed up or went down they would have been entitled to that money. The problem is they got it early.
  22. They wouldn't be gone for ever if liquidation happened. The fans will start a phoenix club in non league and relatively quickly shoot up through the leagues. Any phoenix club would still be in everyones eyes "Pompey" and Saints would have a rivalry with them.
  23. Getting desperate...? Painting doomsday scenario's isn't the best legal argument I would think to impress a high court judge.
  24. So they have had £14m of parachute money already and still have roughly £22m of outstanding football debt which the Football authorities plan to withhold so they can pay it off. Leaves Pompey with only £12m of parachute payments over the next 4 years of the proposed CVA. Did it say that in the CVA? I don't think so....
  25. If ever a thread might turn libelous, it is this one.
