Should teams in administration be sending the youth team to tournaments in Germany? http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/LatestNews/news/Academy-In-Germany-For-Stemwede-Tournament-982.aspx
-
That is still far from certain. Yes, it may happen but no-one knows either way at the moment.
-
If that were true I wonder how many they would sell?
-
A pay as you play deal as explained above still pays a base rate with additional money for games played. It isn't as you seem to think £0 that week if you are injured and can't play. No-one in their right mind would accept job conditions like that! If the player would have been on £4k p/w on a normal contract then on a pay as you play contract it might be £2k p/w base rate and another £2k p/w if he plays. Murty would also require a wage from July 1st when a new contract would start until 7th August when the first game is.

It has quotes and everything, like a real news story. Something they don't often do. Nor is it lifted from another paper or from the Saints OS like they normally do. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/8178915.Murty_hopeful_of_Saints_return___despite_being_released/ They actually thought it through. "Saints don't let us have interviews, Saints release players, lets interview one of the released players". I doubt it will end with anything more than Murty training with Saints and medical team helping him with his injury until Bournemouth offer him a contract.

It is a break into management that he might not get elsewhere. To get your first management job in the top two tiers of English football is extremely lucky. It is also a club he already knows well.

Peter Shilton player manager at Plymouth Argyle Mark II?

Our average 16 CA's are getting ever closer! Mine 99.88 and rising, yours 130 and dropping rapidly.
-
The 3-1 game was the 3rd game of the season and back in August when Saints were a completely different side in terms of personal. The much more recent 5-0 game at St Mary's is a more accurate depiction of the gulf between the two sides as they stand currently.

He only started 11 league games for Bolton. As I said before most of his appearances were coming on as sub and it is hard to make an impact in the scoring charts and the actual time he spent on the pitch is much less than you suggest. http://www.bwfc.co.uk/page/ProfilesDetail/0,,1004~27950,00.html
-
I doubt it is much more than he read it on a forum somewhere else.
-
Most of which were sub appearances coming on for under 20 minutes late on in the Premiership. He was also played out wide a lot. For League One he'd be a very good signing if this rumour is true.
-
A tall 23 year year old striker/winger with 60 games in the Premiership and a former Portuguese Under 21 that could be a mate for Fonte and backup for Lambert and you say "no thanks". We are in League One remember and Vaz Te would be a great signing.
-
A rumour from...?
-
I think you are confusing the FA with the Football League.
-
Harding won't complete the journey from League One to Premiership with Saints as he isn't good enough to do that. Probably only Lallana, Schneiderlin and Fonte are good enough for that. "Maybe" Pardew and Cortese see Dickson as being able to go the whole way and don't want to turn down the chance to sign him for free despite Harding having an admittedly very good season.
-
Over 25? Seaborne and Puncheon are 23 years old.
-
It also doesn't have the 125 anniversary badge, so you are reading far too much into it.
-
It was cancelled. Was a terrible idea in the first place.
-
Without Papa Waigo and Antonio maybe Pardew wants Dickson, Lallana and Puncheon for the wide positions. I still think Antonio may come back so it would be two from Dickson, Antonio, Lallana and Puncheon for the two wide midfield roles and Dickson can cover Harding aswell.

May end up being a similar thing that happened with Paterson & Barnard.
-
Brentford's local paper which has quotes. Daily Echo take note! Although not quotes saying he is going to Saints but that he is on his way from Brentford and speculation Saints are monitoring. http://www.hounslowchronicle.co.uk/west-london-sport/west-london-brentford-fc/2010/05/19/brentford-seek-ryan-dickson-replacement-109642-26475923/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
