  1. Or Saints requested that he only play one half. After all, no other player in the England under 18 squad is in his team's first XI.
  2. He is the only player in the squad anywhere near his team's first XI. Being a League One player helps of course.
  3. Not every Saints fan would be aware of its existence. This may help raise awareness and may possibly lead to more donations.
  4. If he had signed on a permanent deal the Football League would know. They however don't and it is a loan deal. It was announced as a loan with "view to buy", should it go well and all parties are happy. That means the fee has been pre-arranged, but at the moment he is not a Saints player. Clubs can't just make these things up, the football governing bodies register loans and transfers.
  5. Well if you have -£4m, they aren't going to give you any more chances to increase the debt. Would end up like Pompey!
  6. Good thing you aren't the manger then.
  7. You'd struggle to have a decent view of what was going on from row A in one of the corners.
  8. My season ticket is in the Kingsland, the equivalent seat in the Itchen is in the directors box.
  9. You are lucky to still have a job to be fair! If you have been spending lots previously they won't have much left to let you spend. Can you not make any changing with the edit budget button in the boardroom?
  10. It would make it easier if the other team didn't know which players they were up against. If it becomes well known that someone is regularly and reliably announcing the Saints team every week it won't help the team. Nigel Adkins is always very coy about giving anything away in press conferences for that very reason.
  11. It will be alot more than 500, Saints sold 500 and ask for another 500 tickets. So will be close to 1,000, which is impressive for a 660 mile round trip in the 3rd tier. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/TicketNews/0,,10280~2204261,00.html
  12. Yes, it is savegame compatible.
  13. A small patch has been released today. http://www.footballmanager.com/index.php?p=patches If you have installed your game via Steam it will download automatically. The patch is also save game compatible. Changelist... http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php/237501-Patch-11.1.1-Now-Available!-Aka-Hotfix It includes everything on 11.1 plus some more, so if you haven't got 11.1 yet just get this.
  14. Assistant manager at the English Champions to scouting for a League One side is not a sideways move. I hope you were joking!
  15. He recommended the League One top scorer from 2008/09, to a League One team with money in 2009/10? Impressive stuff!
  16. Jaidi will cope with Madine better in the air than Seaborne could hopefully.
  17. Wigan are in the relegation zone! They also have cheaper season tickets in the Premier League than Saints do in League One. Do you not think that if they had all the TV money plus large gates that other teams get they would have a better team?
  18. The Wikipedia page said nothing of a stadium move, Cortese did in interview.
  19. What a lovely grasp of the English language you have. That all makes very little sense! Talking in riddles, poor punctuation, poor spelling, text speak, unsubstantiated rumours/slurs on Cortese and very agenda driven! I don't remember ever seeing an article that Bill Green had been hired. The only mention of him ever on the OS was on the huge staff list. Why does the club need to announce him leaving to goto Leicester City? Most fans wouldn't have a clue he was even at Saints in the first place!
  20. Do you think something is imminent on the Eastleigh council's website? What sort of time frame?
  21. What does that mean? The Itchen Stand already has the corporate facilities in it. No mention of anything on the councils planning website... http://publicaccess.southampton.gov.uk/PublicAccess/propdb/property/property_history_summary.aspx?blpukeyval=002MC5OZBU000&lpikeyval=00253AOZLI000&module=P3&historymodule=DC
  22. Well, which stands were different to how they are now? How were they different? etc etc
  23. Don't leave it like that, describe in detail what you saw.
  24. Because Saints in 125 years have never had a board with real ambition and the resources to match the ambition. Under Cortese (with the Liebherr's backing) we may do. Investment in the team would see more fans turn up.
  25. Saints already have a director of football in all but name. Les Reed pretty much has the role already.
