The strawberry demo only has about 8 nations with playable leagues compared to over 50 on the full game. The demo game is a "quickstart" game which is basically a savegame on a small database. As it is a "savegame" it means things like computer manager shortlists and PA's for players are the same each time you start a demo game. On the full game this will not be the case and you can have a far bigger player database.

Vanilla is a very simple version of the demo. It does not have many leagues, no club badges, player photos etc etc. Strawberry is the glossy and nice version with all included.

Get Saints player for £40 and you get extended highlights normally between 6 and 12 minutes, interviews during the week and the occasional full 90 mins game (Torquay game and Under 18's vs Man Utd). £40 on Saints player is much cheaper than the license fee so stop complaining

I'd start again if I were you with a much larger database selected. The demo is just a "quickstart" database and hardly has any players. Also a release day patch/data update will be available and for best results it is better to start a new game after installing the patch.

It is available for under £18. Considering the number of hours most play FM for it works out as value for money imo

Have you checked to see if your graphics card drivers can be updated? Also are you running anything in the background whilst playing the game?

The lack of Saints player photos is down to the club not sending them to SEGA. This years squad photo was taken much later than normal, due to all the changes in the summer. Hopefully this will be included in any update patch.

There are still loads of features SI want to include so don't worry. The 3D graphics I predict will also improve alot from year to year from now on. FM10 and future FM's I think will benefit massively from the changes to the way they are tested. The game is alot more "polished" this year and from the months I have been playing it over the summer, has far fewer bugs than ever before.

Every player no matter how rubbish like Mr Pulis is, has friends in the squad. They will soon get over it though
