  1. Given Hasenhuttl last month signed a new contract it would be very surprising for him to leave this summer
  2. There was a gap between Lambert leaving in 2014 and Ward-Prowse being first choice for penalties. Tadic for a spell was 1st choice for example.
  3. Which report said that?
  4. Every season every club wears the away kit in games when the don't need to for kit clashes. They do so because they want to use them in a reasonable number of games in order to get people to buy them.
  5. These are all Celtic home kits... They ditched their 'traditional' stripes for hoops, then over time hoops became the 'tradition'. For 55 years Southampton's 'traditional' kit was blue shorts and blue socks! Could you imagine the reaction if we had Saints Web in the 1950s when Saints gave up their traditional blue shorts and blue socks!?
  6. Not where the Avenue goes through the Common it didn't (as Google maps shows). That part of the road didn't have dotted lines down the middle of each side and now has cycle lanes narrowing the road. They have also reduced the speed limit from 40 to 30.
  7. It wasn't duel carriagway before, it was just a very wide road they've made narrower with cycle lanes.
  8. A blue away kit like this would be great...
  9. A new tinpot Portsmouth moron image to add to the Pompey bandstand monstrosity! Rather than watch the game tonight on Sky they are perched on pallets at Oxford's stadium. I always thought Pompey fans were unpalatable....
  10. Since the Leicester thrashing, Hasenhuttl has turned Saints into a counter pressing team high up the pitch in his 4222 system. Not really a counter attacking team as the BBC labelled Saints yesterday. Counter pressing high up the pitch and sitting deep and counter attacking are too very different things. Saints = 'Liverpool on a budget' Since the November international break when Ralph had a rethink about tactics... It needed a good manager like Pochettino & Koeman to get us firing, we have that again under Hasenhuttl after the disasters of Mark Hughes and Pellegrino. For 2019/20 if we had played in the current formation & counter pressing style for the entire season rather than just since the 9-0 disaster then I think we'd be close to Wolves in terms of points. Take this into next season, sort out the home form and it could be a very exciting season!
  11. He already has. He has 2 England senior team caps!
  12. - Ward-Prowse and Hojbjerg are 8th and 9th in the PL this season for tackles won for any position. - Ward-Prowse is 1st in the Premier League for distance covered. In the stats concerning the role they both do in Hasenhuttl's system... they are very good and seemingly undervalued by many Saints fans as to just how good they are!
  13. His replacement would also likely be signed on a deal in instalments for a lower fee.
  14. July 16: Brighton and Hove Albion (h) 8:15pm BST live on BT SportJuly 19: AFC Bournemouth (a) 2pm BST live on BT SportJuly 26: Sheffield United (h) 4pm BST All 10 final day fixtures are shown at the same time. They probably want to see which games have something riding on them before allocating broadcasters for the Sheff Utd game.
  15. He must have done a module on his journalism degree about reading Tweets from fans of other clubs on Twitter! 😃
  16. More likely they copied from my Tweet (which has been viewed 31,000+ times and liked and reweeted by several journalists)... which copied from your thread! 😉
  17. A Saints shirt with Dell as the sponsors would be pretty nice! 😃
  18. It appears they were thinking about getting involved with Derby County, looks like they have switched to Saints now... https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-03-23/michael-dell-s-money-manager-weighs-loan-to-english-soccer-team
  19. To sell merchandise that could be confused for official club products
  20. You think it would be better not to qualify so that we have a better chance to qualify the year afterwards? That really makes very little sense.
  21. Ntcham played in 22 of their 30 league games this season, plus he played in 11 European games this season.
  22. He is not in isolation. He was sent off vs Newcastle and his 3 match ban covers the Norwich, Arsenal and Watford games.
  23. Five? It is two! Sadio Mane and Virgil van Dijk are the players at Liverpool that played this season for them that also played for Saints under Koeman. - Lovren didn't play a league game for Koeman - Lallana didn't play a league game for Koeman - Oxlade-Chamberlain didn't play for Saints above League One - Clyne hasn't played for Liverpool this season
  24. He has not played for Liverpool this season, so I doubt any clause would be triggered unless reaching a games played milestone.
