  1. We should have played 4-2-2-2 from the start of the game. With Ward-Prowse in midfield and Ramsey at right back. Stephens is a disaster waiting to happen.
  2. What methodology have you used to work that out? Because form under Hasenhuttl suggests you are wrong.
  3. 2 1st goes up automatically 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th spots go into playoffs
  4. Why do you think the views of fans on the internet will have any impact on the relegation battle? Why be worried? If the players were complacent that is the time to be worried, not the fans. Brighton looked a mess and have a difficult fixture list... It is Brighton who should be worried!
  5. That is nonsense, plus even if true it hasn't stopped him having more completed dribbles in La Liga than Messi this season. The problem he has is his decision making at the end of his runs leading to the poor end product, which can be coached. His technique, pace and dribbling is very good. I've seen some question his work rate, which is also harsh as he actually tracks back well.
  6. Hard to take the article seriously when the journalist thinks Shane Long is British!
  7. No Danny Ings has 7 in 20 league games this season
  8. Hasenhuttl today confirmed in press conference his interest in Che Adams.
  9. The Financhial Times claims the Premier League are investigating this possibility... https://www.ft.com/content/062b6338-5a1b-11e9-9dde-7aedca0a081a
  10. Bertrand was booked in the 75th minute Liverpool's 2nd goal was in the 80th minute
  11. The booking was for time wasting. Not sure how that should inspire Saints to raise the quality of throw ins.
  12. Saints one of many clubs linked with Mitrovic according to this...
  13. Obafemi aiming for a mid May return. No operation required on his hamstring. https://www.rte.ie/sport/soccer/2019/0403/1040463-michael-obafemi-all-in-republic-of-ireland-southampton/
  14. 50% of those have a Saints connection
  15. This doesn't really work as a conspiracy as Man City would prefer us to win. So would they want Liverpool or Man City to benefit? The officials are incompetent to all... it is just more memorable when it happens to your own club
  16. Under Hasenhuttl Saints are averaging enough points per game for a top 8 finish over a 38 game season. Suggests the player quality wasn't the problem... it was the poor management choices of Pellegrino & Hughes. Of course I'd like Saints to spend in the summer but the squad is not as bad as many like to make out.
  17. You are overly pessimistic about everything! Saints in the Premier League to the Austrian national team is a step-down... both in profile and wages.
  18. 6 points? That would mean Cardiff City getting 11 points and a huge difference in GD(-15 to -30) from... Chelsea (home) Man City (away) Burnley (away) Brighton (away) Liverpool (home) Fulham (away) Crystal Palace (home) Man Utd (away) Very hard to see them capable of doing that!
  19. Puzzled why anyone would drop Ward-Prowse. He played 10 minutes for England on Monday so will hardly be exhausted on Saturday and is in the form of his life!
  20. What does it have to do with "honour"? It is not his fault he was offered a big contract untill 2022. He is fully entitled to sit out his contract if he wants to.
  21. I already explained what to make of it. The website has copied my FM19 guesses. I'm probably very wrong on many players but it isn't easy to guess at player wages for Saints as they rarely are in the press and just working off the total club wage bill of £113m.
  22. The wage bill of £113m in 2017/18 means there are going to be a lot of very big wages throughout the club. Educated guesses can be made by using the £113m total, the rare occasions wages are mentioned in the press and from various industry sources.
  23. Spotrac.com have plagerised the figures from FM19. So essentially they are using my guesses at wages!
