  1. The wage bill of £113m in 2017/18 means there are going to be a lot of very big wages throughout the club. Educated guesses can be made by using the £113m total, the rare occasions wages are mentioned in the press and from various industry sources.
  2. Spotrac.com have plagerised the figures from FM19. So essentially they are using my guesses at wages!
  3. No he isn't.
  4. He isn't starting, he is on the bench. Two players with the same surname in Norway squad.
  5. Yes it would because we would have scored 5 more goals then them. So we'd move above them in the league.
  6. If they had used their brain and sold him... they wouldn't be deducted 9 points!
  7. Gunn wasn't available to play as he is with England under 21s
  8. You can be the Juliet to his Romeu
  9. Taylor left ages ago and Stephens/Yoshida are not suited to cover right wing back. Ramsey is a better option for that.
  10. He is a Saints academy reject. He left Staplewood a a kid.
  11. 40 points has not been needed for the vast majority of a 38 game PL season. Unlikely it will this year either... especially with Cardiff, Brighton and Burnley's fixture lists.
  12. Ralph Hasenhüttl has averaged 1.4 points per game in his 15 Premier League games in charge. Over 38 games that equals 53 points. Last season that would be enough for 8th place! Hughes 9 points in 14 games = 0.64 per game. Over 38 games = 25 points Suggests player quality is not the issue... appointing Pellegrino and Hughes was!
  13. He is a nightmare and barking mad as his dancing suggets. I sat near him for a match and he is constantly shouting profanities at the ref and opposition. When I say constantly I mean constantly it really is a non stop torrent of rubbish.
  14. Silver lining... the result for Cardiff means Saints are only 9 points from 9th place West Ham.
  15. Training alone during some stages rehabilitation is commonplace.
  16. He has had success stories, these were all signed in his time... van Dijk Bednarek Redmond Romeu Hojbjerg Lemina Gunn Vestergaard Plus numerous academy level signings.
  17. Players will want to join the top 6 regardless of what they hear on international duty. Wages and higher quality football is what attracts them to move, not chats with potential future teammates.
  18. Time to bring out the bat signal...
  19. Pray to who? I think we should pray to Joe Pesci, he seems the type to get things done. Plus he demonstrably exists... which is a good starting point
  20. I struggle to see a 33-year-old Billy Sharp being of use to Saints under Hasenhuttl. I'd prefer to see Ings, Redmond, Obafemi and Gallagher as strikers for Saints.
  21. Stephens and Obafemi both played for Southampton's academy teams = academy products
  22. My sponsorship from Heisenberg has ended. Open to it being renewed from the boss, but if not someone else can... Benefits advertising space dedicated to them on my avatar my allegiance to their SWF agenda for 1 year Cost = £5
  23. The Villa team he was in was shocking, Bertrand wasn't.
  24. In the opening minutes vs Cardiff we were playing 4222. Stephens was playing alongside Romeu rather than as a centre back.
  25. If we continue at the rate of points per game Hasenhuttl has (1.3) then we won't be in the relegation zone at the end of the season. Yesterday was bad... but look at the bigger sample of his 11 games in charge and we have improved a lot and are averaging enough under him to stay up.
