  1. The training ground planning application went in when Saints were in League One, construction started when in the Championship and will be finished this summer. Saints didn't need a training ground like they will have in League One or the Championship. These plans for the stadium are for the long term benefit of the club and more than just adding capacity to the stadium, they are about increasing revenue streams for the club in other areas. Unlike Pompey owners of the past decade, Cortese/Liebherr have a strong record of delivering on their projects. I doubt this is a pipe dream and think Cortese has every intention of seeing it through.
  2. Look at the second image of the originals and compare with the first image of the new ones I posted. The stadium facade looks very different. We also didn't see any of the hotel, apartments, retail, offices etc in the old images.
  3. Some changes have been made to the design, the new ones are far more detailed and for the first time we see images of the development around the stadium which looks to be hotel, retail, offices, apartments etc to raise revenue streams. The original images... The new images...
  4. You are allowed one "overage" goalkeeper and three "overage" outfield players. So up to 4 in total.
  5. Premier League ‏@premierleague Phil Dowd has been appointed referee for Southampton v Liverpool on 16/03/13. Damn, he is terrible.
  6. Turkish is Mr Wrong.
  7. re the Man City game... I could quote countless others if I wanted.
  8. €17 million = £14.8 million
  9. I guess you weren't at the Tottenham game at St Mary's, when his introduction turned the game towards Saints.
  10. Then why did you make your original statement if it is wrong and you have to make such follow up statements? Saints have played well in every game under Pochetinno and continue to create numerous chances. It would be far more concerning if we weren't creating chances and losing. Yes, it is disappointing we haven't picked up more points but it isn't anywhere near as bad as many on here are making out. You are a wind up merchant and a boring one at that!
  11. You think the 5-1 loss against Chelsea was a better performance than beating Man City 3-1? Really?
  12. It'll be the usual 4-2-3-1 system, Pochetinno doesn't like changing his tried and tested system.
  13. Rodriguez can move to the central striker role in the 4-2-3-1 system and Puncheon, Chaplow or Guly can come on.
  14. It'll be the usual 4-2-3-1 with Yoshida at right back.
  15. He is on the bench.
  16. Boruc, Yoshida, Fonte, Hooiveld, Shaw, Schneiderlin, Cork, Ramírez, Lallana ©, Rodriguez, Lambert Subs - K. Davis (GK), Clyne, Forren, Ward-Prowse, Guly, Chaplow, Puncheon
  17. He is carrying a boot bag on the video.
  18. Schneiderlin is at Carrow Road, boot bag in hand.
  19. Yes there was! Which Russian? Arcadi Gaydamak claimed in an interview he owned Portsmouth and not his son Sasha. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1056099/Arcadi-Gaydamak-reveals-Im-real-owner-Portsmouth.html
  20. There is no set deadline in the Football League rules for diluting a failed CVA with a new CVA. It is not the same as what happened with Saints, which did have a cut off date. It is at the Football League's discretion what they do, but yes, it would be pointless to give them a points deduction in League One if they are already relegated to League Two. -10 points in League Two would be the right thing to do, but who knows what the Football League will do...?
  21. Saints had 17 shots to QPR's 5 on Saturday. So clearly something was working for them, if not scoring. Yes, Saints weren't great, but they still largely dominated the game on Saturday and it was far from as bad as many on here are making out.
  22. You may well have a good source, but my point was this thread and the opening post is based on an article that does not say what the opening poster says it does. The article even says... "But a spokesman for the 2015 Rugby World Cup denied the list was valid. 'That list is not at all true. It is entirely speculation,' he said. 'It is not the final list."
  23. Did you read the article? It would appear no-one else responding to this thread has either, as it doesn't say that at all. A very misleading thread title and opening post.
  24. And has been very effective for us in the last 3.5 years, as it isolates him against normally small fullbacks.
  25. All bodes well for tomorrow. It would appear QPR aren't fit, infighting and Redknapp is a distant figure, compare that to Pochetinno leading double training sessions personally and the squad fighting together pressing high up the pitch.
