Nigel Adkins' actual words were "I'm sure there might be a little bit of movement over the weekend" not "by the weekend". Which implies today/tomorrow. Interview starts at 3:40:00 and comments on transfers are at 3:43:00 http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p00j4zdt/BBC_Radio_Solent_Sport_30_07_2011/

Why do you think this match isn't preparation?

Milan Mandaric sold Leicester City in August 2010 and he brought Sheffield Wednesday in December 2010. Leicester City are now owned by Thai multi millionaire Vichai Raksriaksorn.
-
Possibly just that he has been dealing with the Pompey game being moved for broadcast live on the BBC, Davis new contract and highlights video of last nights game to do.
-
tbf to McCoist that was very early in his career. If he had moved at his peak, he would have done quite well in the English top flight I think.
-
Why do you think the Championship will be so much of a step up? 14 teams better than Saints? Norwich, Leeds and Millwall all finished in the top 8 in their first season after promotion. None of them have the budget Saints do. Saints have outspent the majority of Championship teams since the summer of 2009. Of course money is no guarantee of success, but it helps usually.
-
Odds are based on the money the bookies have taken on them from punters since the market opened very early in the summer. Not necessarily the bookies view of the Championship as things stand right now. Sometimes it takes a while for odds to change after events like the news concerning Birmingham's money problems, especially if a lot of money has already been placed on them to win the league and the selling hasn't yet started.
-
Birmingham will soon be sliding down that list.
-
Because England announced that they wouldn't call up players to more than one squad this summer. Alex played for the under 19's in the Euro qualifying games. Also, had he played in the under 20 World Cup, he would have missed the start of the season for Saints.
-
He said after De Ridder signed that he was looking to get one more, possibly two more. Three or four in total for the summer window.
-
You can do that aswell, but I haven't seen Radio Solent say they are going to cover it with full commentary like Albion Player is going to.
-
For those that can't make it tonight, you can listen to it here by using your Saints Player login... http://www.wba.co.uk/page/News/0,,10366~2403261,00.html

Really is amazing they didn't have a ticket checking system before they posted them out. A simple double check would have most likely prevented this. Luckily mine was okay, but it seems quite widespread.
-
What makes you think Saints couldn't if Chamberlain stayed?
-
Yes.
-
WBA squad for tonight's game... Myhill, Kiely, Cech, Ibanez, Miller, Wood, Dorrans, Mantom, Jones, Thorne, Cox, Fortune, Downing, Roofe, Gayle, Dawson, Mattock

That isn't what he says at all. He is just saying the Wednesday edition of the local paper (the Bristol Evening Post or EP) is running a story about a rumour that was in the national press on Tuesday. Doesn't mean he thinks the rumour is true or that he is "expecting a bid imminently".
-
"Please play for us when the God of pounds"
-
Blame Google translate for that. I put into it, "I've been outed".
-
You have a choice and can listen to the away team's commentary. By signing up to Saints Player it also allows you to log into any other team website that uses Player, watch their videos of games and other things.

He has a far better idea than you or I though. -

The QPR FM researcher rates him very highly.
