I think Rhodes is off to the Prem... Newcastle are sniffing about and if rumours are to be believed so are Man Utd... I'd happily take Sordell. Big, pacy and powerful. A bit like Welbeck. He's young but has everything needed to be a good Premier League striker. I'd also do my utmost to get Big Jos signed up and another centre back for back-up on loan would be great. Who though, I don't know. I'll leave that to Nige.

I'm hoping Piers tackles the Raoul Moat saga!

It's "Stop getting Bond wrong!!!" Best part is when he makes Lyn flinch and she trips up, spilling a bottle of Sunny Delight in to the box with all the videos all in.... "Yeahhh... they're ruined!!"

Johnny Howson being complimentary about Saints.
sambosa75 replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Saints
I seem to remember him answering a question with "if they can keep up, yeah". They actually didn't keep up with our form from the moment he said that until the end of the season but they had too large a head start. Its science. -
Nowt wrong with it if thats the case. Good luck to him. Will be a great player for Bournemouth if they can get him fit and happy/hungry (in the footballing sense).

And single yellow lines. More or less all of these are fair game on Sundays too.
-
My old road (quote close to Kings Mall car park suggested by Dimond Geezer) has free parking on Sundays and is a close walk to Shepherds Bush station and Kensington Olympia station that connects to Earl's Court. The postcode is W14 0NJ, check it out. There is usually plenty of parking providing you get their reasonably early as Masterchef Live is on this weekend at Olympia and it will get busy from 11am onwards.

Well the fact I was buzzing for 6 days from such a relatively small amount compared to other narcotics was certainly a bit of an eye opener (if you pardon the pun). That cannot be good for you. That said, AMT was much worse. I had a tiny, tiny bit of that and had I have gone gung-ho and dropped a gram straight away I reckon it would have caused permanent damage.

Pretty sure that along with Oceanography, Southampton University is one of the worlds leading universities for eye surgery. There must be a fair few places in Southampton available to do it. My girlfriend had it done years ago and hasn't worn glasses since.

No company will pay £8-10m a year to sponsor something that with court nothing but bad publicity. It will be the same as their sportsdirect.com @ St. James' Park stunt from last year. No one will be interested, everyone will carry on calling it SJP and it will be forgotten about.

I had a few nights on M-Cat and thought it was actually pretty decent is small quantities. One day my mate bought 10g of the stuff and we had a bit of a binge between 5 of us on a Friday night. I couldn't stop gurning until Thursday the following week which wasn't much fun. Much more worrying than M-Cat though is the fact that there is a drug called AMT still readily available on the internet. I had a tiny bit a few months back to shut my mate up who was banging on about it all night and was basically stuck in the foetal position but awake, tripping my nuts off for about 36 hours. I would urge people not to try it.

My girlfriend used to like him but commented that she thought he has a massive ar$e for a football player.

Lacked consistency. Had bags of class just failed to show it often enough.

He didn't have a diamond studded collar...

Alps, come off it... we had a reasonable team? Our squad was absolutely pony and I am shocked by your naivety if you seriously think administration is guaranteed as a good thing. We got lucky. Very lucky. That Fialka bloke was a bank statement away from taking over at the club and there wouldn't have been a thing Liebherr could have done about it.

I used to have a Rhodesian Ridgeback dog. His name was Tizer.

Crunchy nut cornflakes, easy.

Schteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeve.

Come on Saints... a win today would be just peachy.
-
It did, although I feel Adkins is more tactically astute than Pardew.
-
Sort of agree with what you are saying but Newcastle won today without Tiote and for 70 minutes without Cabaye, who for me, looks absolutely world class. They can only beat who is put in front of them and are making a pretty damn good fist of it. Even if they lose their next 2 games against Man Utd and City away, they'll still be in the mix. The key is beating teams like Everton and Stoke as they have done in their last 2 games. If they can win those and only lose to the likes of Utd, City and Chelsea they will be in the top 6 come the end of the season.

Gambling being rammed down our throats ...
sambosa75 replied to Bourne Valley Saint's topic in The Lounge
So let me get this straight... In moderation you are saying alcohol won't harm you but betting will? So the £5 I put on Saints 3-1, Lambert first goal every home game is damaging me more than say, a small glass of red white 4 nights a week? Gambling can be good for you too, if you win. Surely it is down to the punter to gamble responsibly too? Gambling companies also advertise responsibly. Yes, some of their adverts are rather annoying but when they are advertising certain bets, its always £10 wins you £100, not £1000 wins you £10,000. They never claim to be the answer to your financial problems and like alcohol, always urge their punters to bet responsibly.
