It's a fabulous, long post but misses the whole point of the original post which was MLG saying that the clubs I mentioned didn't see attendences rise when they moved to new stadiums. But in most cases they did. As my stats proved. According to one of your own (Clapham Saint) who has knowledge of the CVA process we are currently servicing the CVA. Argue with him (and all you others who say we're not servicing it can join in) If I have a house valued at £500K and I spend £500K can I "afford" to spend it? You had £7m in the bank and spunked the lot. You spent money that was yours but couldn't afford it. You say this may have been because you believed new funds were coming in and you only went into administration because Barclays pulled the plug. Our problems happened because Standard Bank called in loans of somewhere between £30 - £40m overnight. And I assume we didn't pull the plug right then because Storrie thought that if we could struggle through to the end of the season we'd have either another year's PL money or the Parachute payments to see us through. Different to you certainly but still similarities. We also tried to offload the high wage earners but had problems doing that as some couldn't get the same money elsewhere so refused to go (like Nugent refusing to go to Blackpool last year). Yes it was different but you still gambled money you couldn't afford to try and buy your way back to the PL The cancer charity situation (as you say only one now, the other's been paid) is a disgrace but then Chainrai promised to pay those, along with the smaller creditors, out of his own pocket. As for the CVA, as has already been said (many times in fact) whilst it's been put back there is a timetable to the repayments. If CSI default on those payments the club will be folded, so why not wait and see what happens. The creditors agreed to the new timetable so it's al legal agreement. So to keep saying, as you do, that the debt hasn't been addressed is wrong. It has. There's a CVA and a timetable in place. If CSI default on those payments and that timetable THEN the debt won't have been addressed.

No comment from MLG?

Can’t help but think you’re being a bit disingenuous with your stats there. All well and good looking at one season but when you compare the 5 seasons before clubs moved and the 5 seasons after it’s a different story. I haven’t checked the capacities you claimed for the stadiums so assume they’re correct. Derby Crowd average for 5 years before they left the Baseball Ground was 15,356 and 5 years after they moved it was 29,203 – an increase of 90%. True they’d just been promoted but even when they were relegated their crowds stayed at the same kind of levels as when they were in the PL Leicester 5 year average pre move was 20,240, 5 years after move was 25, 958. However, 4 of the 5 years after they moved were spent in the Championship when the 5 years before moving were in the PL – and their crowds increased by 28% AFTER relegation. Boro Nice to see you ignored anything that backed up what I said. 5 year before moving average 15,515. 5 years post moving average 31,435. Increase of 103% Reading 5 year average pre move was 8,813. 5 year average after moving was 12,604, an increase of 43%. What’s more, that increase came after they were relegated from the Championship and spent the next 4 years in L1/ Div 3. Stoke Crowd average decreased by 5% after the new stadium opened but they were relegated to L1/ D3 the year after they moved and spent the next 4 years there. Sunderland Crowd average for the last 5 years at Roker park were 17,677. 5 year average after moving were 41,598. Increased by 135% Tell me again about this myth that a new stadium usually attracts more fans. Stats again taken from here http://www.european-football-statistics.co.uk/england.htm

HTH Derby, Leicester, Boro, Stoke, Reading, Sunderland, Newcastle (when they expanded)
-
Fratton sold out 96% of it's capacity for the first 6 years we were in the PL and only declined when the **** storm broke. To say fans only went when we were spending big money on players is ****** as the crowds were at virtual capacity before we started buying the likes of Crouch and Defoe. It's constantly been stated on here that we couldn't sell out Fratton in the PL and a link to the site below has been posted many times before to prove you're wrong. I'm sure someone will come up with some new conspiracy theory why the facts on a impartial website are wrong and you're right but here they are again. http://www.european-football-statistics.co.uk/england.htm Crowds have gone up substantially at virtually every club where a new stadium has been built. To suggest Pompey's crowds wouldn't follow that pattern is just plain silly. Until we get a new stadium allowing us to offer better alternatives on ticketing it's a pointless argument, as has been proved for the years you've constantly argued it on here and this new lot of posts will make no difference

Pushed back to December as the judge was taken ill 9 days into a 10 day hearing. It's a CONSPIRACY

So what you're saying is Rallyboy can't count the difference between two and three? I assume that he can and that his "two or three" comment was pushed to three to make it sound slightly better. I also find it a bit odd why you'd shout out if there were any Saints fans there? Seems a very odd thing to to say. Perhaps Rallyboy could tell us if he is indeed from Gosport so we could clear up if (being generous) it's 4% or 6% that means a town is "all read and white" Yeah, Saints fans support never fluctuates between the good or bad times does it? As evidenced by your crowds halving in the two years after you were relegated. What did you teach in school - head in the sand techniques?
-
Advanced maths the Rallyboy way. 2 or 3 of us (that would be 2 then) out of 50 said they were Saints fans. That means out of 50 people there from Gosport (OK, 49 people because you're not) 1 was a Saints fan. So, Rallyboy's advanced maths means 2.04% of people being Saints fans makes Gosport "all red and white".

Which players haven't we paid for then Phil? PS: Has Antonov spent all that SAAB money yet?
-
Let's take this in order: 1. The article clearly states that Andronikou told the creditors meeting that Chainrai himself would pay all small creditors (ie those under £2500) "out of his own pocket". It also clearly states that the money was to be paid by Portpin, not PFC. If Lampitt is spending club money on legal fees it could be for any number of reasons, not least to try and force Chainrai to pay what he owes. How do you arrive at the conclusion that it's "clearly" a PFC problem? 2. Given the money they have Antonov and Dubov clearly could pay the £115K. But if it's not money they agreed to pay whilst Chainrai did agree, why should they? If it's Chainrai's debt, they're not "trying to wriggle out of obligations", Chainrai is. 3. For once you may have got something right. It was down in black and white as Chainrai's debt. 4. Gaydamak agreed this week to pay the money himself if his company Miland Developments don't. Quite how he'd have loaded that one onto the club years after he stopped owning it is beyond me. Perhaps you could clarify? Or is this your latest conspiracy theory - that he still DOES own it? To be honest SJ77, I said nothing there that I haven't said countless times before on here. If someone wants to enter a sensible debate I'm happy to do so. To answer your questions: 1. Do you think the guys on Dragon's Den would think ANY club was a sensible investment? You think you're doing well and you're losing £7m a year in L1!! 2. CSI have said their aim is to run the club sensibly, quoting Blackpool as an example of a club that reached the PL without spending too much. They didn't say how much they paid for it but Chainrai/ Portpin definitely no longer have a charge over Fratton Park and Chainrai is no longer a secured creditor. Gaydamak still owns the land around the ground and the trust have asked if CSI plan to buy it. The answer was they acknowledge the ground either needs to be developed or a new one built and they'll take their time deciding which one it should be. No point buying the land if they plan to build a new stadium elsewhere (cue Crab Lungs claiming I've said they'll definitely build us a new ground next week) 3. The question about when the small creditors will be paid has been answered on a number of occasions, including at the time the promise was made. Like most Saints fans, the only news most Pompey fans hear about the club is what they read in the paper or see on TV - ie most of them don't sit on messageboards like this or POL and discuss it in minute detail. Understand what you're saying about the Lowe Luvvies but they were in the minority on the main board, just as the Pompey fans asking questions were in a minority. But to say the questions weren't asked is wrong Actually, it probably would be illegal. Those guys have agreed to the CVA proposal so I don't see how they can start to change their agreement now. The £2500 thing has been going on for a year and if people start trying to reduce their claim it's only going to put the process back even further. I feel sorry for everyone who lost money but that was what they agreed to. It's Chainrai's debt, not the club's. See my response to SJ77 above. Not sure it could be done legally but it would be lovely to see the crooked bald **** hit where it hurts, or even better struck off (if that's the term) IT'S A CONSPIRACY. LOL Give up, it's embarrassing
-
Thanks for taking the time to read what I actually wrote rather than just coming back with a knee jerk reaction. But I'm not trying to defend or glaze over anything. Chainrai's a scumbag who engineered the whole thing for his personal gain at the expense of both the club and it's creditors. CSI may or may not have links to Russian crime (rumafia.com says they do, an investigation by the Swedish government could find no evidence - so we don't know for sure.) That's not defending anything, just pointing out the facts. Like the fact that Antonov hasn't bought SAAB. The problem on here is that someone says something (like Phil with his comments about Antonov's wealth being the same as EIB's loan to SAAB) and it somehow becomes accepted fact that Antonov has stashed the cash when he doesn't even own the company. With respect to us demanding a "respectable" club, what do you think our fans are doing by meeting with the PL and FL, setting up the meetings with Lampitt, writing articles that appear in various papers, magazines and websites highlighting our problems? Your lot bang on about us "blaming the PL" for our problems when what we were actually doing when we met them was pointing out that they approved someone as our owner on the basis of a photocopy of a passport! Partly as a result of that meeting the FAPPT rules were changed. And the "bestest fans" thing is just silly. I've seen Saints fans on the main board claim you're the "best in the land". I suspect most clubs fans say the same.
-
Err, it doesn't because he hasn't. That was my original point Russians, of course It's funny, this laughable moral superiority that you guys on here have. Where were these Saints fans demanding to know about budgets when Mike Wild was splashing cash in a desperate bid to get back into the PL. Where were these voices of caution and reason back then? They certainly weren't on here because it was full of people gloating at me because Saints had outspent Pompey in transfers that summer. As for Pompey, no questions asked? Apart from the guys who pressed the FL not to allow Chainrai to take over the club, who uncovered the links on the rumafia website months before it appeared on here and flagged it up to the FL to investigate when CSI were trying to buy the club, the Pompey Trust who have negotiated regular supporters group meetings with Lampitt to constantly question him about what's happening at the club. Those "no questions" you mean? Now, the meetings with Lampitt might not amount to any meaningful change but the point is at least we're trying. Your post in completely and absolutely wrong Adrian, excuse me for saying this but you really do come across as the biggest sniveller on here. Every post banging on that we should have been wound up. We were punished according the the rules of football and anything else went through the courts. We were punsihed appropriately according to law and the rules of football. Just stop whining for God's sake I guess we are less newsworthy Phil. Maybe that means this thread should be closed then? Tell me more about Antonov's wealth being so coincidentally similar to the loan the EIB gave SAAB. Just what were you trying to say? Especially as Antonov has not taken over SAAB. I really don't know what you were trying to suggest Like I said, Pompey fans uncovered the rumafia website months ago, long before it appeared on here and paased it on to the FL. There are all sorts of allegations, none of which are proven. The website claimed he'd taken over SAAB, he hasn't. That's a pretty big error wouldn't you say? So maybe (stress may) their other claims are untrue too. They were claiming that Russian Railways were going to plough $300m into us, not seeing that happen so far are we? And like I keep asking, if you want to buy a football club to launder money through, why buy the club that has more focus on it's financial dealings than any other English club? That doesn't make sense. I'm not sure what the big cut and paste job was all about either as it doesn't mention Antonov. as for knowing and not naming hitmen, Antonov clearly says that the guys who shot his father have been arrested and are going to stand trial. Chez, I didn't say he would buy SAAB, I was just pointing out that he hadn't bought it yet. Contrary to what Phil and a number of other posters on here were saying. The Swedish government investigation found no links to organised crime and GM have also reportedly dropped their objections to him buying in. Chainrai agreed to pay the small creditors personally as a condition of the CVA. He's a scumbag, it's no surprise to anyone he's welched
-
The only way I can explain it is by saying that the people who wrote the Rumafia site din't do their research properly. Antonov's bid to buy into SAAB was blocked by General Motors worried about claims that he was connected to Russian crime. However, a Swedish national debt office investigation found absolutely no evidence of this. Antonov may now still buy into SAAB. You can read about it here: The firm said Russian businessman Vladimir Antonov was still interested in investing in it, but was awaiting a decision from the European Investment Bank on his clearance for an equity stake in Swedish Automobile, following the Swedish National Debt office recommendation to clear him two months ago. http://www.autonews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20110627/ANE/306279900/1193 The article's dated 27th June 2011 so it's very recent. So, given how inaccurate Rumafia's reporting on the SAAB deal with Antonov was do you think that some of the other stuff in there might not quite be 100% also?

Love the cod psychology Nick Nack. Ref your current obsession that I've somewhere said I only post when my wife let's me use the laptop (PMSL) I've always said that I only post on here when I'm at work. I'm sure there might have been od occasions when I've posted at a weekend but 99% of the time it's when I'm in the office. Now your mum might have to take you to work (special needs centre is it?) but I manage to struggle in on my own. Here's some quotes of me saying about me posting from work, most of them to you funnily enough. I went "AWOL" for 3 weeks because I was on holiday. Pompey were, as far as I can remember, around the top 10 of the Prem at the time. Just what is it you're saying I was running from? I only tend to post once or twice a week because I'm not in the office as much as I used to be and as I keep telling people, I only post when I'm at work. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?4319-Pompey-Finances-are-boring!&p=99154&highlight=post+work#post99154 Thart one's from November 2008. You were accusing me of running away when the going got tough back then as well, apparently failing to notice that we'd just won the up and were shortly to play AC Milan in Europe. hard times indeed Nick nack. Here's a couple more posts on the same subject of posting from work Look Mave, I know you're not that bright but as I've explained dozens of times I DON'T POST ON HERE AT WEEKENDS, ONLY WHEN I'M AT WORK. That's why you saw no posts from me after we lost to Wigan until Monday. Do you think you can finally grasp that concept now? http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?4319-Pompey-Finances-are-boring!&p=99732&highlight=post+work#post99732 No, Nick Nack, I don't post either when I'm not at work or when I'm too busy http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?5395-Buy-Pompey-for-£1&p=132102&highlight=post+work#post132102 Are you starting to get the picture yet? Are you referring to the 400 mil loan from the EIB to SAAB that Dubai Phil has been talking about? If so, how would Antonov use it to fund Pompey when he hasn't taken over SAAB yet? pmsl
-
But go back through other threads on the forum and try and find one from me bragging about siging players. In fact, the quote I posted a link pre - dated this thread and was posted when Gaydamak was still in charge. There was life before this thread - although given how many of you have been proven to post more on here about Pompey than you do about your own team I know many of you will find that hard to believe. Phil, are you still maintaining that Antonov's estimated wealth is at least partly based on the EIB loan to SAAB? Sorry Jack, I assumed you could read properly. I posted a link and a quote from me that dates from the time Gaydamak was in charge that specifically says it was just rumours culled from the media, not anything to do with being ITK. And from the tone of it it's clear that I'd repeated the same thing many times before. On the subject of me being ITK, here's the original post I made about knowing someone at Pompey. Do I claim to be ITK about anything in it? The clue is in the first 6 words I've never claimed to be ITK but I do know someone high up at Pompey who we see socially every couple of weeks or so. I don't get told everything but I do get various pieces of info dropped. Some of these don't happen because, shock horror, things change in football like they do in any business. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?14620-Pompey-Takeover-Saga&p=454328&highlight=socially#post454328 Isn't it about time you all faced up to the fact I wasn't claiming all these players would be joining Pompey and bragging about it? Having said that, I continually post links proving I either didn't say what you claim or that some of the things you've said I was wrong about actually were close to happening (the SA group's takeover for one) and you still won't have it. It's truly odd behaviour
-
Unpleasant? Moi? Au contraire, Pierre, I'm a thoroughly likeable individual. "Trying to brag"? PMSL For over three years I've explained time and time again what the posts were about. If I was trying to brag I'd have done that when we actually signed a big name player like when we were signing Defoe, Crouch etc. Go back through the board and find one instance of me bragging when we signed any of that type of player. FAF. I think if you're talking about anti delusion counselling you might be a prime example. Just how many conspiracy theories have you personally posted on here. It's Arkadi one week, it's Chainrai the next. Then it's the two of them. then CSI owe Gaydamak. No they owe Chainrai. Which one is it this week? Could someone just actually confirm WHICH conspiracy theory this board is adhering to this week so we know just where the greatest investigative minds on the web stand on the matter. Is it: 1. Gaydamak is running the show through CSI 2. Chainrai's still running things through CSI 3. CSI are running the show to launder money through a club with more focus from the authorities than anyone else 4. Gaydamak and Chainrai are running things as a partnership. Also, is Lampitt still a FL plant (proposed many times) and if so, where does he fit in with CSI/ whoever laundering money through the club?
-
Maybe we can finally get you girls to accept what the now infamous transfer gossip posts were about. here's a link to a post I made in 2008 (that's three years ago for those of you who can't count) and even then I was trying to get dear old Nick Nack to understand what the posts were about: Look Nick Nack/ Mavis, if you're so dumb that you can't understand that the "gossip" (look up the meaning of the word) is lifted from the papers and websites rather than me claiming that all those players would be arriving at PFC then I feel sorry for you. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?4319-Pompey-Finances-are-boring!&p=97134&highlight=transfer+gossip#post97134 Now tell me again that's not what I meant.
-
So many mistakes and false assumptions in one post - difficult to know where to start so I'll take them one by one if I may. 1. Nit picking on the smallest points and details???? PMSL. Your lot are the ones who go over EVERY article that appears in the press about Pompey to analyse it to the Nth degree drawing some of the most ludicrous conclusions ever seen. You, Jack however, were the one who said we'd signed Norris on "absurd wages". That's not nit picking, that's pointing out to you that you have no idea what we're paying him or if it's more or less than other clubs were offering. He may have been on good money at Ipswich (do you know how much by the way?) and they may have offered him a new contract - but was it at the same money as he was on before? Was it a one, two or three year contract? Maybe Pompey offered less per week than Ipswich (or any of the other clubs that were after him) but offered a longer contract. Who knows? You certainly don't. 2. Ref what we've been paying Nugent and Kanu - we've been paying them that as that's what was stipulated in their contracts. Not contracts that should have been offered but that's the way it is. We desperately tried to unload all the high earners last season but as no-one else was prepared to pay them what they were already on here they refused to move. And before any bright spark asks why we didn't make them free agents, we'd still have been obliged to pay up their contracts in that case. Lawrence and Kitson are a different matter but we needed bodies to bolster the squad and as they were part of the Marc Wilson deal they didn't require a fee. Now, whilst everyone on here scoffs at Lampitt's "quality over quantity" statement, the fact of the matter is that we chose to sign those two on £20K a week with no transfer fee. We could have signed 4 or 5 lesser players instead for an average £500K each, paid them £8K a week over a two year contract and would have ended up paying out the same amount. We knew we'd struggle last season and chose to go for a better standard of player and a smaller squad. 3. I never posted we'd sign Saviola. Or Eto'o or have Maradona managing us - as I proved in a post I made last week. The transfer gossip posts I made were purely gossip pulled from tabloids/ websites. Some seemed to get that after I explained it the first few times. In fact, I know that Granty understood the concept. Perhaps he could confirm it for me 4. As I said last week, the comment about al Fahim being "10 times richer than Abramovic" was posted after someone posted it on here. It was laughed at then. My post was referencing that and as someone 10 times richer than Abramovic would be well known as the wealthiest person in the world so you seriously think I would have posted that meaning it? If so you're dumber than I'd given you credit for. 4. I'm well aware of the FSA ruling on Antonov. However, if he's been laundering money through them, why buy Pompey? He's not been caught laundering money so far so why not just carry on doing it through the companies he already owns? Or if he wanted a football club specifically to do it why choose the club who's financial transactions are under more scrutiny than any other? A club whose every transfer has to go through the FL for approval? Does that sound like the kind of move someone who's smart enough to have built up a "criminal empire" by the time he's in his mid 30's would make? That's not nit picking, that's asking a straighforward question. One that none of you have been able to give me a straigtforward answer to I don't "go out to find wifi hotspots". We have, as I've already said, a 3G connection. But, if I'm out and have the iPad with me and a hotspot's available I use that so I don't rack up time on my account, as would most on here I'd guess. And I didn't think that using a different computer/ laptop would result in a different IP address. I understand the concept very well thank you as I believe I demonstrated after starting a new job and being chal;lenged on that I said that Baj could check the company IP address and compare it to posts I'd made when at my previous job to prove I'd changed companies Well, I saw a post on a Bournemouth board and one of your fans came running over to a Pompey board saying it was "all over the media". But I looked and found nothing at all on it. Could you post a link to these articles for me? Because I'm sure that if CSI had been guests at a Bournemouth game whilst they were carrying out due diligence at PFC it would have raised at least a few articles in the papers and have been commented on by Pompey fans on our sites. Or did you just read the post on a fan messageboard and make the rest up? CSI are Mitchell's guests of honour whilst doing due diligence at Pompey and absolutely NO mention of it in even the local Pompey newspaper, let alone the nationals? Doesn't that sound odd to you Phil? Actually, his personal wealth is estimated at £250 - £300m but let's not quibble over that. I'm interested in your comments about SAAB, especially as he hasn't managed to buy his way in there yet so can't see the relevance as to why you'd post it. Presumably you were alluding to him maybe riping off the EIB loan to SAAB for himself? Hard to do when he doesn't own the company, surely? You seem to think I believe they'll be spunking a load of money on Pompey. I don't and I sincerely hope they don't. He's said his role model for running the club is Blackpool and how they managed to reach the PL without breaking the bank. Suits me fine. As for the CVA, if they have plenty of cash, as you say, it shouldn't be a problem repaying it, should it? PMSL. I said I didn't post from home as I only posted on here to pass the time whilst at work and had better things to do at weekends, nothing to do with my wife. Of course, if I actually said that it will be on here so post a link to it so we can all see That's right, only Pompey fans post rumours like this, don't they? Saints fans would never post rumours about signing Michael Owen or Kevin Nolan would they? Or that Martin O'Neill was going to be your new manager and had bought a flat in Winchester. No, it's only Pompey fans. LOL
-
What if I used my wife's iPad and only posted via 3G instead of using our WiFi account, or from hotspots? Oh Jimmy, you thought you were being so smart and superior. You thought you had me. Oh Jimmy. Jimmy, Jimmy ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Thanks for answering my questions too girls. Were they THAT difficult? Here's another question for you. Was our PL spending funded by money from Arkadi Gaydamak or not? Think carefully before you answer
-
Sorry Gummy, things have moved on since Chainrai's pet poodle AA manipulated the system to his liking. You're right that when the CVA was agreed Chainrai received the club for nothing AND was still secured against his £17m loan. I commented at the time that it was a disgrace he was allowed to get both. Apparently the FL agreed with my thinking. There was a lot of petitioning by a number of Pompey fans groups and seeing as the FL were well aware of Chainrai's intentions all along they thankfully managed to stop it. You may remember a lot of noise going on around the granting of the golden share to PFC. What the FL said was that Chinny could either get the club or retain his secured status but not both - and they wouldn't grant the golden share unless he agreed. He made a lot of noise about folding the club but the FL had him over a barrel. Without the golden share he wouldn't get any cash. So he agreed. If I want to view this forum I don't need to sign in. BUT, if I want to look at the main board I do have to. However, if I signed on from the laptop I use when posting as the ITK Saints fan whose posts have been well received (PMSL) the mods would have spotted that they had a shared ISP address and I'd have been rumbled. I logged in as CH so I could see the posts on the main board about what was happening and any reactions to my own posts on there. Simple really Are these the same ITK contacts who told you the CSI deal to buy Pompey was off and they were going back to buy Bournemouth instead? What was it you had been "led to believe" thats everal meetings had taken place between them and a deal was close" wasn't it? Or words to that effect. LOL Most of the board apparently!! Now, tear yourselves away from your infatuation and obsession with Pompey's CVA for a moment if you can (a CVA that, including the deferred payments, has been agreed by the creditors involved after all) and answer me a couple of questions: 1. If CSI wanted a football club to launder money through why buy Pompey, a club with more focus on it's financial dealings from the football authorities than any other club in the country? Does that sound like the kind of option a gang of what you're calling international criminals would do? Why wouldn't Antonov do it through one of the banks he owns or through one of the many other companies he and CSI own instead which could be done much more easily with much less focus? 2. If CSI have no money (another theory that's been levelled on here) how do they manage to own and operate such a diverse range of high profile companies? 3. What are the "absurd wages" Jack Frost confidently states we've agreed to pay David Norris? Come on Jack, explain how you got this ITK info 4. Do you understand the concept of the "transfer gossip" posts I used to make yet and that it wasn't a list of players I was boasting that Pompey were about to sign but just a list of "targets" from various websites and papers?
-
You know, it's hard to believe how many times I've had to explain this to you investigative genius' on here but I'll do it one last time. I used to post a regular "Pompey Transfer Gossip" post, mostly when Redknapp was here because we got linked to so many players. For some reason, many of you (not all, some even tried to put the rest right but apparently you're too stupid to understand) seemed to think I was saying we were going to sign each and every one of these players. It was GOSSIP from various PAPERS & WEBSITES. Take the Saviola one. Quite a few papers and websites posted that one, including quotes from the clubs. Here's one now http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1113002/Portsmouth-line-Real-Madrid-striker-Javier-Saviola-replace-Jermain-Defoe.html or this one about Fiorentina wanting Kanu for £2m http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1113002/Portsmouth-line-Real-Madrid-striker-Javier-Saviola-replace-Jermain-Defoe.html Incidentally, I never once said Maradona would be coming. In fact it's even in the quotes you posted from me. I said fahim was supposed to be good friends with him and wouldn't be surprised if he was used in some kind of ambassador role like Mandaric did with George Best for us. In the same post I also said there was no way we'd be signing people like Eto'o etc. Lastly, the thing about Fahim being 10 times richer than Abramovic was in response to a post someone made about his claimed wealth. If he was 10 times richer than Abramovic he'd be wealthier than Bill Gates and Warren Buffet combined so you'd think most people would understand the laughter behind that claim. Except you apparently Now, what are these absurd wages we're paying Norris that you and no-one else has found out about? It was GOSSIP, hence the thread titles. anothersaininsouthsea I think a bit of mythology has developed but here are a few Crop Ho gems to lol at: Corporate Ho Not going to heppen, certainly not signing Eto'o/ Villa etc but wouldn't be surprised to see Maradona acting as some sort of "ambassador" (call it what you want) for PFC So I didn't say Maradona would be coming as manager and have explained the comment in the above posts. All clear? Corporate Ho But I thought no-one would buy Pompey Nick. You told me so repeatedly and so did the Romsey Retard. You kept saying you were a much more attractive proposition. Don't worry, I've read he's only 10 times as wealthy as Abramovich Again, already explained above Corporate Ho Yeah, it's way too high although our turnover for last year was £70m (!) and with the players that are out of contract in the summer such as Campbell, Lauren and Kanu who are big earners we'll shave around £15m off the wage bill. Even allowing for some replacements to come in that will take us down to around 60% of our income which is the Prem's guideline. Err, it did happen. But when the bank stopped the credit facility it hammered us Corporate Ho Keep up doofus, it's not Riquelme, it's Saviola. See post above and link to original article Players Out: Hreidarsson - Celtic/ Reading Sol Campbell - Newcastle/ Villareal Utaka - Rangers/ Lens/ Rennes Kanu - Fiorentina/ Ajax (£2m!!!) Lauren - AEK Athens/ Bolton/ Wigan Kranjcar - Arsenal Players In: Saviola/ Drenthe - Real Madrid (Loan) Joey Barton (£3m)/ Benjani/ Michael Johnson (£6m combined) (Man City) (etc) Transfer GOSSIP as explained above Here's a link to the Drenthe story http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/notw/sport/111574/PORTSMOUTH-boss-Tony-Adams-is-poised-to-sign-Real-Madrid-midfielder-Royston-Drenthe-on-loan-until-the-end-of-the-season.html Transfer GOSSIP as explained above. Here's a link to the Drenthe story. If you genuinely think I was saying we'd sign all these players we'd have had a squad of about 5000 players Corporate Ho Was told late last night that the SA group looking to buy us had a hitch in their plans but that they now have the finance to buy the club pretty much in place. They have around £60m and Gaydamak wants £65m. Have been told that the deal should (unless something else crops up) happen some time in January. Have also been told that this group don't want Adams and that he's likely to be moved out before the deal is announced. So keep watching. Not sure what happened to the SA bid. It was pretty well documented in all the papers. Deals fall through. Like yours with Paul Allen and DIC - PMSL http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/nov/11/portsmouth-premierleague Originally Posted by Corporate Ho I've been told that Pompey's financial situation is nowhere near as bad has been suggested by the media. If the bank hadn't have pulled the plug we'd have been OK. Needed to reduce the wage bill but manageable. Corporate Ho PMSL. So when Storrie says this he's the man to listen to but when he says we have no financial problems and that we won't be selling players in January you tell me he's a liar and that we're going bust. I love the way you lot change your tune when it suits you. Not sure what your point is here. I was saying that you were changing your attitudes to Storrie depending on what he was saying. A bit difficult for you to grasp maybe? Would rather the Chinese lot won as they seem prepared to put more into the club but Gaydamak will make more from the African one, not just initially but also an involvement in any stadium that's built. There's also a group from the UAE sniffing around who met with Gaydamak last week. Looks like I've ended up with egg foo yung on my face over the date on this one but I'm still willing to bet that we get new owners before you do. See report from the Guardian on the South Africans. And one of your own posters recently talked about hearing about a bid from the chinese for us Corporate Ho Nick, nice to get into a decent & sensible conversation with you for once. The £130m you quote is not just for the stadium. The plans also include a 10,000 seat arena for concerts and also other commercial developments (I assume retail, bars etc). Finding a buyer doesn't seem to be a problem, we have at least four groups sniffing around and like I said earlier, I'm told a deal will be done before Xmas. Haven't heard about Germans but if you move a little further North in Europe you wouldn't be too far wrong from the group leading the pack at the moment. I assume this is meant to be me saying that the stadium was definitely going to happen. I was explaining to dear old Nick Nack that the £130m that someone had mentioned after seeing the plans included other developments besides the stadium. And it seems Nick Nack had heard about a bid from a German group in his post too. Corporate Ho I've been told that there are three bids on the table for Pompey. One is a Thai group, one is a Russian guy whose name I've been told but won't repeat on here (he's very, very wealthy though - we're talking multiple billions) and the third is in all likelihood not arabs but Hong Kong Chinese - again mega Billions. Shinawatra was Thai, was never told the name though so can't confirm it was him. Hong Kong chinese - where's Chainrai based? As for the Russian guy, his name was Chalva Tchigirinski. At the time he owned 51% in Sibir. His right hand man in most of his business dealings was a guy called Roberto Avondo. Join the dots yourself. There you go girls. I'm still waiting for answers from you about how you know what salary Norris is on, why CSI would buy Pompey to launder money when it would be so much easier for them to do it via any number of other companies, what the conspiracy story behind Chainrai, CSI and the Gaydamaks is supposed to have changed to today and which nationality of girls Crab Lungs finally decided was sexiest after PM'ing me to ask my advice Bye now, see you on the main board XX

I'll comment on the quotes later on if someone posts them. However, I haven't been away, I've posted on the site pretty much every day. I took some inspiration from quite a few of your posters on here who used to brag about posting on Pompey boards posing as our fans to wind us up so quite some time ago I followed their lead and registered on here from another ISP as a Saints fan. I've been posting on this thread and on the main board for quite a while. It's been quite a laugh watching Saints fans lapping up some of the absolute drivel I've posted, probably funniest when some of your fans (including a few of the main contributors on this very thread) PM'ing me for ITK titbits that have then appearewd on here as pearls of wisdom when in fact they were so laughable it's hard to believe anyone would believe them. PMSL I gave up posting as CH because of the joyless experience this board has become, something echoed by your own fans on the main board. Pretentious, posturing ****ing know alls/ know nothings, driven by the sheer deluded belief that your club somehow "belongs" in the top flight. It's been fun and I'll continue to have my fun on here. Anyway, I'm looking forward to your lot this season. Can't wait to see the Barcelona of England or whatever it is you were bigging yourselves up as and once the sell out 45,000 seat stadium gets built I'll be cheering that on too. Bye ladies

Absurd wages? How much a week is he being paid then? I haven't seen it reported anywhere. So you're saying the FAPPT should work like the Tom Cruise film Minority Report and predict what offences someone will commit in the future? PMSL. You don't have a good grasp on the FAPPT do you? He's not a secured creditor. Keep up The funniest quote of them all. "For the first time"????????? ROTFPMSL. You pretentious bunch of tvvats. Sitting on here slapping each other on the back for you investigative prowess and getting it wrong time and time and time again.

FFS, I'm not saying we shouldn't pay it. I was trying to point out to some of your mong like fans that it wasn't a conspiracy theory of Readknapp giving us an interest free loan as had been said but was part of a double transfer deal that didn't come off as Begovic chose to go to Stoke instead. Keep up, eh?

Err, no Granty, Richard Hughes did. All over the papers that he's offered to take a 50% wage cut from £22K a week to £11K a week to get a new contract. So he wasn't on £35K a week. Surprised you guys didn't see it, given how closely you seem to search our local paper and post on any online pieces posing as Pompey fans As I always say when any of you 'tards post this, post me a link to me saying Maradona was going to be our manager or that we would sign Riquelme, Eto'o etc. In fact, just last week Crabtard posted some quotes from Pompey fans on here one of which was me saying I had no idea if the stadium at the Hard would be built. If that's now me saying it was definitely going to happen your grasp of English is very odd. The article says what I posted. Fee agreed for two players, Begovic refused to go there and Spurs are claiming there was compensation of £1m agreed.
