It's not that simple ringwood. This has consequences. Each region has different desires/ requirements. For some English towns and regions this was all about immigration. For smaller poorer regions Scotland and NI European subsidies keep our economies afloat. I know that your concerns and mine may be very different which is why in hindsight an in/out question is not nuanced enough to cover all our requirements. I know only from my own experience that the possible creation if a new hard immigration customs post on our now open border will have terrible psychological implications. All the idiots need is that slight instability to open Pandora's box. Even after our ****ing contest I am sure Batman can see that with his experience here. Over 18 years we have built an evolving peace with the EU as a protective and effective cooperative third party in that. Removing that creates a vacuum. Already McGuiness is calling for a border poll. These issues were not highlighted as possible consequences of Brexit. I understand the majority of English/Scottish/Welsh either don't care or didn't consider it but it is very much now a possibility. This was my reasoning for voting remain and I feel that within the EU gives us better stability. I say this as a true unionist. Sent from my YOGA Tablet 2-1050F using Tapatalk

Paraded as an apprentice boy actually. Grandad in Tyrone lodge for 55 years. Great uncle was a piper on DDay beaches. Dad in UDR for 15 years and then in the RUC for twenty seeing friends shot and bombed. Yes I bit. What's your family ever done for the Queen and Country? More ridiculous than ripping two countries out of a union it didn't vote for? Sent from my YOGA Tablet 2-1050F using Tapatalk

My name's not Jesus but I bask in his glow, thanks. WE did not vote to leave. You did. This is no longer a UNITED kingdom so these distinctions now apply. Northern Ireland 55%remain. Do you force us against our will? England is progressively going more right wing and does no longer represent the collective mindset. I do not believe for one second that after brexit that an entrenched Tory govt will replace our lost European subsidies (£350 million NHS ring a bell) So for purely economic reasons( practical, money oriented reasons, yes I know) the case of loosening the ties with an austerity agenda big brother is becoming a more attractive proposition. Can you see this argument as valid? Maybe? Sent from my YOGA Tablet 2-1050F using Tapatalk

And there you have it. It is OUR money. Your money is not worth more than mine just because your parents ****ged on a different rock. Sent from my YOGA Tablet 2-1050F using Tapatalk

I'm a Northern Ireland unionist but our identities are evolving and more nuanced than black and white. I no longer hold the same cultural or political mindset it seems with the English and as an Ulster Scot am aligning with Scottish progressive mindset. I am still a unionist as in better together than apart but brexit is the opposite of that. Many northern Irish unionists voted for remain and reject the notion that makes us less unionist. You are right as well about contributions. Quite happy to keep European subsidies and suffer the loss of English. If England wants to go down this path, fine, but just dont expect us to be the lapdog and go along with it. Always up for reasoned debate? Sent from my YOGA Tablet 2-1050F using Tapatalk

How do you think they will vote in the next one. Let me guess? #Brexit. Turkeys voting for Xmas?????? Sent from my YOGA Tablet 2-1050F using Tapatalk

Only possible solution. UK is UNION of 4 nations. England and Wales voted to leave. I think a pan Celtic alliance of three distinct areas namely Eire, NI and Scotland would quite happily cooperate and let England and Wales " take their country back"? Sent from my YOGA Tablet 2-1050F using Tapatalk

As UK, sorry disunited kingdom, starts to break up, lose international significance, influence. England that's left will no longer have seat in UN security council and will retreat into isolationism. Maybe that's a good thing. The little Englanders that hark back to spitfires and Ian Botham (farage) will begin to understand they triggered this and we will eventually become as insignificant as Norway and Canada on the world stage. If it stops our soldiers being sent to godawful places on imperial crusades maybe this will all have been worth it. Sent from my YOGA Tablet 2-1050F using Tapatalk

I am actually going to get an Irish passport so my English son can have free movement in Europe and all the benefits that gives him. Again I am a unionist. My family are lodge members and I will be opting for dual citizenship to remain European. Northern Ireland voted to remain. Scotland voted to remain. This is the end if the union. Well done little Englanders you got your wish. Sent from my YOGA Tablet 2-1050F using Tapatalk

Doesn't matter window genie out of bottle. All we need is any excuse. I'm a unionist and I now would be tempted by a unitied Ireland. Work that one out Sent from my YOGA Tablet 2-1050F using Tapatalk

Thanks England. I'll remind you of what you've done when my country Northern Ireland starts bombing itself again. Thanks for thinking real hard about all the consequences Sent from my YOGA Tablet 2-1050F using Tapatalk
