Completely pointless to keep him. If he is in charge on Saturday do we really expect the players will be doing their all for him? Do we really think his 'gameplan' will suddenly start to work? Or is it more likely that players will down-tools and we'll see another home defeat? Of course they should not do that, being professionals; but if they really don't like him and want him gone... Saturday could be carnage.
