The video screen grab, "view from the office" was fooking hilarious to be fair.

I suspect we'll see some differences in the fees of each player. £15M seems light for PEH, given we wanted £35M originally, and there was talk of £20M offered from other clubs. But...last year of the contract, and Spurs his chosen destination. £12M for KWP seems a bargain. There was suggestion that our sale of PEH would fund his replacement, so hopefully that's not in danger.

Seems strange that he lost his way so badly. Linked to Arsenal etc. Was he (is he) a decent manager? Will be very interesting to see where he goes next.

Be interesting to know if we're looking at 2 x starting CBs. I'd guess no. Maybe a younger player as backup? An 'old pro' as backup/experience in the dressing room (although I that would be a departure from our norm of course).

Where did the idea of 2 new CBs come from? Do we know LeG's post referred to another CB?

I'm not totally convinced by him: he's decent: he's better than Valery for sure, but how many times does he beat his man and put in a telling cross? Once today I think. He doesn't seem to want to commit and overlap, or beat the last man. Looks like he can (the one time I recall from today he did it with ease), but he needs to do it more.

Seem to have run out of ideas. Not a lot of options on the bench.
