Been with family in Amsterdam this weekend as they we’re running half marathon. We managed to get seats from fans resale for £31. 52k stadium no queue for beer or food and cheaper beer than in town and can take it to seat. Excelsior Fc have a stadium that holds 4.5k. Ajax never got out of second gear, Tadic just strolled in acres of space , he scored one and made 2 in a 7-1 win. interesting watching Blind Bergweijn and Klaasen in this league light years above rest. Tadic still has it but in that space he can destroy teams. No-one in 10 yards of him 90% of game. Nice stadium easy access and good to see a team in red&white win. Best player was Bassey. Couldn’t decide whether Brobbey is good or just lucky he has team mates to set him up but Ajax have that focal point we lack.

What are our tactics and game plan? How do 5 changes a game help players know what their partners are doing? Shouldn’t a top coach like Ralph find a formation and coach players to be better isn’t that what he is paid for? Not having a go but the excuse of blaming players doesn’t sit with me. Why drop Salisu v Everton? Then drops CC v City why? Perraud deemed not good enough to start v Everton and Larios was despite Moussa doing well then Perraud starts v City. AMN starts v Everton then not a minute at City if you were a player how would all that grab you?

Stop tinkering and 5 changes a game - AMN has hardly played how can he get match fit? Diallo has proved he can’t play the role. Why drop Salisu then CC, why drop Moussa from LB and play a midget. Try and find a formation to get best of Aribo not stuck wide.

So last week he broke up the one thing that was ok BK/Salisu for Caleta dropped Diallo for AMN. This week drops AMN for Diallo and CC for Salisu. Next week is it JWP andBK turn to be dropped? Selection by raffle?

Don’t hate him and not much to admire in last 28 games or 60 points. Just think gone stale and no idea of best side now and tinkers for sake of it why change central two? Moussa played pretty well then doesn’t get a minute against Everton plays a 5ft 6 midget. Tactically last 3 games hoof to Adams v Wolves and Villa no one close enough to feed off any rare he won . Saturday both Adams and Mara coming short not showing or moving so midfield have nowhere but sideways and back . Our only light was Aribo. Clearly has love but now just looks a beaten man.

Bertrand has been injured. Lallana , VVD, Clyne, Boufal, Wanyama pre injury, Hojberg all did ok since leaving.

On holiday

Christ I have just read on Twitter under Tele article one Saints fan describe Ralph as a top coach! ‪Do top coaches get 3 wins from 28? Can you name another coach who has 2 x 9 defeats a 6 nil at home and 12 points out of 60? He was let down by striker in summer but his tactics are not a top coach. Why haven’t the strikers we have improved if he is a top coach? At least MLG put him right 🙂

True look at Brendan and to some extent Lampard this season. I will be sad when he goes as he obviously cares but he has lost the plot. Why break up the only decent partnership last Saturday. Moussa has critics and haters but he did well at left back . At Villa first half he was only decent performance until hooked off then what happens not a minute last week. we play a midget who is good going forward but battered defensively when we have 2 other options. I had hoped with better back room these mad changes would stop. I do think he was let down with no strikers in apart from Mara we should have had someone in June/July we didn’t need a Gapko waste of time that was. Ralph has paid for that Che scores at Wolves and Saturday then we wouldn’t be sacking him soon.

They have signed a pretty good striker since!

Not really

I think we all like his manner and way he took to our club. He seems a genuinely nice guy and we have had some highs. We all wanted him to succeed but it’s gone what he had, he is a busted flush . 6 changes yesterday breaking up the one thing that’s been pretty much ok Salisu/BK , he played a young lad nowhere near equipped to be a defender in Prem. Despite past performances Moussa has done ok this year, he did well at left back played decent first half on the right at Villa yet totally dropped yesterday. He was let down badly by going for Gapko we didn’t need a 30m player we needed 2 strikers. Nketiah, Ineacho would have improved us and an offer for either would have been better than wasting weeks on someone we were never getting. Ralphs team if it is his team now lacks confidence, tactics or any ability it’s stifled by him. The only time we look good is when we just forget everything and go for it. Go now how many more games are we going to waste. Will be sad to see him go but it’s time.

No quick fix 3 wins in 28 how much worse can it get? What was our pattern today? The only time we look decent is when we go hung ho and abandon Ralph’s sterile football .

Was our only half decent performance first half at Villa and then dropped completely today for a 5ft midget who Everton played 2 against and won everything in air!!! I know you really can’t say one word against but explain that first half after working with them for 2 weeks. I don’t believe you honestly believe what you are typing!
