Maybe the thinking is keeping him one more year get a few goals from him. A few injuries no doubt a year older maybe then a few top clubs will be looking elsewhere and he would sign a new contract then a gamble as could walk away free but as others said better to get another year than certain relegation. A new owner in a years time may see us better place and a load of dross off books.

I think he has been poor last couple of games give him a rest and play Salisu who looks absolute quality. He won a header tonight with a huge leap and reads it so well I was annoyed with Vest for that trip on Zaha as Salisu read it and covered him. After that lengthy spell Salisu looks a star.

Good post and where I am he is tactically useless- against Burnley got it bang on thought he had changed but no 86 mins under cosh second half we could get a point bring on extra defender or midfielder.
