I'm all done now anyway. Lambert when on form, is probably 90% of Saints fans favorite player so it is great to see him starting (hopefully) to come good again. I did paticularly enjoy it when a fan near me about 5 minutes before Lambert's equaliser said " **** off To Newcastle Lambert you useless cvnt.

Yeah thats true, but we really didn't turn up then full stop. But he was a real nuisance today, as said before One Swallow doesn't make a summer, so lets hope Lambert can put a run together, along with the side hopefully.

Noticed him being alot sharper today, comparing him with his performance against Clarke at the Galpharm he caused him alot more problems today, his link up play was great too. Lets just hope that goal kick starts his season as i think everyone will agree he really needed that.

Meh, the missed chances have probably plagued my judgment due to his position today and Barnard being one of my favorite players. But then again it is the same as people slagging off Lambert. I didn't like him today but i have got behind him before and will again. I am in a fantastic mood now after the 4-1 win and the ashes being retained, i will give him the benefit of the doubt and see how he does it he starts on Saturday .

Excellent Performance from 20 mins to the end. After they scored the crowd starting getting worried but i think after a couple of weeks without a game the rustiness showed. The 1st half was an incredidble advert for League One, it was absolutely frantic stuff, attack after attack, Who missed their open goal? I don't think i've seen many worse misses than that live. Special Mentions for Lambert, Lallana, Jaidi and Chambo.

He wasn't, Play Lallana just off Lambert, play Connolly, Give Barnard a start and bring Guly on later. I'm not one to doubt Adkins, i just can't see Guly ever fitting in to our team.

Bring back Osman. Despite not being great, i'd take him over a Exeter fan anyday.

A striker he is not, but when played on the wing he has been dreadful and wouldn't get near our middle of midfield, there is just no place for him.

No i rate those 2, Guly can do one though. We can get far better that do all the above, Connolly, Barnard, Lambert, Lallana, Patterson, McGoldrick, Jordan Robertson and even BWP would of buried at least 2 of the chances Guly had today, he was a passenger to the other 10.

****ing Useless. Any of our other strikers would of buried the vast majority of chances he had, link up play can be done by the rest too. No excuses, he isn't good enough.

It seems the pattern lately that the under fire batsman suddenly finds great form, for example Cook and Hussey. Lets hope Colly can do the same.
