If he is talking first team he will always argue that Yoshi is in a position to replace him, or Stephens. Even though we all know originally he meant an external player.

In my opinion - If a centre back is out, put a centre back in, we don't need to try and be more clever with changing the team around to accommodate one position. Bertrand and Yoshi can coach Stephens through the game and Romeu can keep an eye out as well. Unfortunately this probably means that we will be sitting deep but I would play Long up front for the counter attack. Jagielka would be an awesome signing in the short term, we can't fully rely on the youngsters if Yoshi or VvD are out for any length of time. VvD, Jagielka and Yoshi are all captains, be nice to have that option. With regards to Forster, he has been under tabs by Arsenal for a while and may move for him in the summer as competition to Cech.
