I won't be forking out for it.

Have you actually read this document? I have just read it online and can find nothing that suggests not letting teachers into pubs. All I can see is some of perfectly reasonable regulations for ensuring the upkeep of professional standards.

I've got a 360 if anyone fancies a game also. Gamertag is deadpanmatt

Hahahahahahahaha! Hahaha! Oh my... How will they EVER police this? Teaching is a job, it shouldn't dictate what we do in our spare time too. If this is passed I certainly won't be paying any attention to it. If some people don't have have the common sense to do things sensibly it shouldn't influence how I live my life. edit- Turns out the original poster has vastly exaggerated the content of the document.

Or... the other end of the stadium can make some noise and idiot fans can support the team instead of saving their breath for player abuse. Makes me laugh- at 1-1 today some fool didn't sing a note but had no problem barking defensive 'strategies' until we went 2-1 up.

I seem to recall questioning other poster's hastened glorifying of Waigo before he had even played for us. Shock, horror: he isn't a world class striker! Having seen him against Gillingham he doesn't seem the most skillful player in the world but he is certainly spritely; much better than Paterson or any of our other 'wingers'. I thought he got better today as the game progressed. A decent member of the squad who will score a fair few and make a few assists this season.

When I read people's 'ideal starting 11s' on this forum...

Well, I hope you guys are right and he turns out to be a 'sensation.' Watch this space... -
When I read people's 'ideal starting 11s' on this forum...
deadpanmatt replied to deadpanmatt's topic in The Saints
I agree about pace, but Ali Dia had pace! I don't really think coming from a Serie A team says much though- if he was good enough for Serie A he wouldn't be at Saints. He may very well turn out to be quality, but I really think we should reserve judgment. -
... they often include Waigo as a starter. I also read people saying things like 'I would put Waigo on the wing personally.' Do you people know something I don't? He has played 1 minute of football for Saints, he may well turn out to be rubbish. After tonight's reserve game we will have a better idea, but until he has played a few games I don't see how he can go straight in to anybody's ideal starting 11.

Yes. Yes it is.

Nice website, however I can't let this go unaddressed. From your front page; NEW SHIRT'S IN NOW! Apostrophe error! It should read 'NEW SHIRTS IN NOW'. Sorry

All you have to do is search for things and bid on the cheap things. How is it possible to get ripped off on ebay? You can choose your maximum bid! I wouldn't want to paint it, especially since I think the signature is real. I reckon having him in the England kit is kind of making a statement; he should've played more!

If it is a fake I'll rip it out and blue tac the figure on my dashboard. If not, I'll keep it all nice and packaged

Yeah I just won the auction. just over £3 including postage!

Not bad backup, and it now seems that Lancashire won't get near the team. That's got to be a bonus!

...that assuming the Jaidi deal goes through, Pardew will have signed an entirely new back four for us since becoming manager, not to mention a new 'spine' in the case of Hammond and Lambert. When we were in the Championship (all that time ago), I would have done anything for that. It seems to me that the resources are pretty much there now, we just have to make it gel and get into the winning mentality.

Schneiderlin wants to Leave / Rasiak
deadpanmatt replied to Channon's Sideburns's topic in The Saints
I think this is worse than the prospect of Rasiak leaving, mainly because if he does leave Wotton might get a look in again! -
I'm being faced with some serious nostalgia here! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ken-Monkou-Corinthian-Figure_W0QQitemZ320415008592QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_SportsMemorabilia_Football_Memorabilia_ET?hash=item4a9a390750&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Shipperley-Corinthian-Figure_W0QQitemZ320415007914QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_SportsMemorabilia_Football_Memorabilia_ET?hash=item4a9a3904aa&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Jim-Magilton-Corinthian-Figure_W0QQitemZ320415009242QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_SportsMemorabilia_Football_Memorabilia_ET?hash=item4a9a3909da&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Neil-Heaney-Corinthian-Figure_W0QQitemZ320415009996QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_SportsMemorabilia_Football_Memorabilia_ET?hash=item4a9a390ccc&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

This exact same thing happened to me!

Everything you have written here is totally worthless because you haven't even read the thing! It seems that your main complaint is that the book is not what you want to read. Fair enough, but that doesn't mean you have to belittle other people for reading what you consider to be a worthless piece of literature (that you haven't even read). Oh, and if Matt Le Tiss can't write a book about his playing career several years after he has retired, when can he write it? You may be well read but you are seriously out of touch with the common public. I read a lot, and realise that books have to be taken in context. I read Stephen Fry's autobiography last summer, and whilst it is certainly not one of our nation's masterworks, it is an enjoyable read. Most saints fans will enjoy reading about our club's favourite son's career; you, however, have shown me no sign that you are in fact a fan of any sort, all you ever do is ***** and complain in an attempt to elevate yourself above other posters on these forums. You don't want to read the book. Fine, but that means that you have no right to pass judgment on it, nor anyone who reads it. I think from now on I will just read your posts and chuckle to myself rather than waste my time venting my spleen. I'll leave that to others.
