  1. It would absolutely **** the pitch at St.Mary's meaning it would have to be relaid once or twice a season at a cost of a few hundred grand each time.
  2. What statistics?
  3. I heard you were broke because the helicopter cost so much to service:mad:
  4. You've probably chosen the most inappropriate bike for city commuting! The problem with cruisers are that your vision is restricted because you're low down, the are not very nimble which is essential for filtering and they make you look like an extra from a motley crue video As St.Landrew has already said 'off-road' style bikes are ideal as you can see over the traffic (and at the same time become more visable to them!) they're quite nimble and are usually quite tough. If you're short forget that and get a 125 scooter, they've got storage for your helmet and gloves built in and are quick and nimble enough to not be a problem in traffic. Above all try and test a bike before you buy. How about this? http://www.suzukilowpayments.co.uk/model_dr125sm.html
  5. My point is that you'll now lose money swapping bikes.
  6. Everyday is a school day, i was under the assumption that a VFR and its sibling the NC30 were square fours! I do remember recommending the SV to Baj and his response last time, i just think that an inline 4 requires minimal rider input and thus enjoyment compared to other engine configurations, might as well drive a tin can. I also don't think an SV650 is too much for new rider, however a big single would be inappropriate.
  7. I don't understand this, you're the first person i've ever encountered who didn't like a v-twin! Inline fours are just boring, no involvement with the rider at all, just point and squirt. Square fours like the VFR's are pretty decent but i'd rather ride a single or v-twin. Perhaps you just like to get on and ride rather than the more involving experience of a v-twin. If that's the case don't ever ride a single!
  8. Although it's tempting to be boring and buy a Bandit, Fazer or Hornet to teach you the basics there is actually a bike out there that will be good for a learner, but you won't grow bored of once you're past the 1 year mark. This bike is widely acknowledged as being a great first step on the ladder and is flexible enough to be an everyday commuting bike and a weekend toy. A friend of mine rides his one to trackdays and humiliates GSXR/CBR riders who know how to open the throttle but can't go round a corner for toffee. It's also currently available new for 0% finance and is the most underrated sports/everyday bike on the market. Step forward the Suzuki SV650! http://www.suzukilowpayments.co.uk/model_sv650Sport.html
  9. Combien?
  10. Even i liked it
  11. Yep, too many sheep following the herd, ditto F1
  12. Very murky, i think that the buyer has 'rights' but would need to sue to get their money back or compensation, and i'm not entirely sure how long the period lasts for.
  13. Doesn't that post just about sum up the chasm between Saints fans expectations and what we should reasonably expect? Will the majority of Saints fans be content with anything less than some Uber fan with £100M? Or should we be happy that someone is offering to simply save the club? I'd rather they save the club and then worry about the details later, after all we don't seem to be besieged with offers. MLT involvement is a bit sad as if it all go tits up some muppets will consider him fair game.
  14. I feel nauseous, they should get a room:smt060
  15. £20k! I take it they don't think she's got long left? That'll last less than a year!
  16. Nature is weird! http://www.mentalfloss.com/blogs/archives/25336#more-25336
  17. Her current song is absolute ****e though:roll:
  18. I thought that Samsung were ahead of Sony in terms of TV's? Oh and the current range of Plasma's are almost on a par with LCD's in terms of power consumption.
  19. How about some ideas that won't cost the club much needed revenue but actually help to make life a little easier for the fans?
  20. It's a waste:p
  21. So we're choosing to write off a kid who looked fantastic at the start of the season and ended up looking knackered and uninterested after a couple of injuries and playing too much at such a young age. I really don't believe the ******** sprouted on this forum by so called football experts. Havn't we seen talented youngsters played out of form by too many games at a young age? Where is the encouragement to play well when there is doom and gloom from the rest of the club and the fans. I know this post will get ridiculed by 'experts' saying 'if i was being paid £******* a week i'd put the bloody effort in' we'll that's not how it works with nippers, is it!
  22. Scum
  23. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/8030898.stm
  24. To be fair i think it barely covered up till now and that's with some players and staff not being paid.
